Mario Chat / Super Mario Kart - Beating a 150cc Race Without Losing Any Coins Challenge

This was requested by our friendly forum member Toad! He wanted to see if I could complete a lap in Super Mario Kart without losing any coins or getting towed by Lakitu. I'd also get brownie points if I used Toad. I actually expanded upon his idea, though. I completed a whole race using Toad without getting towed by Lakitu, losing any coins, bumping into anything, and I came in first place!

I actually haven't played Super Mario Kart much at all, so the skills you see in the video are derived from my experience in other Mario Kart games.

Mario Chat / Super Mario Sunshine - Completing Corona Mountain Without the Boat

This is quite possibly one of the hardest things I've ever done in a video game. I've heard that people thought Corona Mountain was annoying because of the boat part. I haven't really thought that the boat part was hard, and after watching this video, you'll find out that having the boat is a grace. Relying mainly on the Hover Nozzle, I make my way across the giant lava pit using stalagmites protruding from the lava. Also please note that this isn't a speedrun.

Just like my Super Paper Mario videos, this one is a MUST-SEE for ALL Mario fans, even if you've never played this game before!

Mario Chat / Super Mario Galaxy - All of Luigi's 150 Purple Coins Speedrun

As requested by various members of this forum, I have made a Super Mario Galaxy speedrun of collecting all 150 Purple Coins in the Luigi's Purple Coins star. My path is very well-planned out, and I'm satisfied with it. I successfully collect all 150 Purple Coins and the star in 1:36 (1 minute, 36 seconds).

Hello everyone! This is the thread to suggest/tell me any challenges or requests you'd like to see me make a video of. I'll consider every request or challenge put up on here, but I might not do some of them. Please don't suggest anything impossible (Beating the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials in under 10 minutes) or very long (Super Mario Sunshine 100% speedrun, beating the Pit of 100 Trials, collecting every coin in Super Mario Bros.). The requests must be strictly Mario-related and from a Mario game. Sorry that I didn't clarify this earlier. Also, I don't have all the Mario games, so I won't be able to do some requests, sorry. In addition, please don't request too many challenges because I don't usually have too much time on my hands and I might take a while to complete only one request. You have my sincerest apologies for that.

Now that everything is cleared up, you may feel free to start requesting!

Hey guys! I've made another Super Mario Galaxy speedrun! This one takes place in the first Star in the Ghostly Galaxy. I admit; I could have done better, but after having finished this, I wasn't in the perfect mood to re-record. Either way, this speedrun utilizes some time saving tricks that I thought were very beneficial. I complete the level in 1:31 (1 minute, 31 seconds).

Mario Chat / Super Paper Mario - The Last Rounds of the Flipside Arcade Games

Hello everyone! This is a video showing the last round of each game in the Flipside Arcade. Be sure to give thanks to Nintendoobsessed for the idea! I also show off a trick in Mansion Patrol that involves using the Wii Menu to help you clear it easier, although I have already beaten it without the use of the trick.

After completing each game, the words "GAME CLEARED" show up on the screen and some achievement-type music based on the song in the Flipside Arcade plays. After that, everything else continues like normal (Token Exchange, Highscores).

Super Paper Mario looks great on my new camcorder, but unfortunately, YouTube's compression made the quality worse. Luckily, if you watch the video in high quality, it looks just like it does on my camcorder!

As requested by Turtlekid1, I have made a Super Mario Galaxy video with my new camcorder. This one shows off how to get to the 2nd floor of the Comet Observatory while it is unpowered. There aren't many any differences at all, except that the teleporter up there that forms a 2 way teleporter mysteriously allows you to activate it before the area is even powered! Enjoy!

Hey guys! Remember the Super Mario Sunshine Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret No Jump Speedrun? Well, this one features me completing it by taking the same path and not using the A button at all! I use lunges and the hover nozzle to make my way towards the shine sprite in the Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret, which is the first shine sprite in Gelato Beach! How fast is it? You'll have to watch and find out. I'll give you a clue though. The time difference between them is very little...

Video Game Chat / Super Smash Bros. Match - Me vs. [T-P]hydrakiller4000](LC-1)

Hey guys. This video is a match between me and [T-P]hydrakiller4000](LC-1) on Super Smash Bros. for the N64. I am first player. This match was done on the actual console. There are 2 matches; both decent. I won both matches. [T-P]hydrakiller4000](LC-1) and I usually play a lot better. Although I beat him pretty bad, he's still an extremely good player. If you ever verse him, you'd find out that you would probably get 4 or 5 stocked on a 5 stock match. He's played some of the best players and won, but he didn't beat the best and 2nd best players in the world.

Hey guys! This is my first high-quality video with my camcorder! This is a Super Mario Sunshine speedrun of the Dune Bud Sand Castle Secret shine sprite, which is the first one in Gelato Beach. This speedrun features me completing the level without jumping at all; relying on flips, lunges, and the Hover Nozzle to collect the shine!

General Chat / Camera A/V recording help

Just recently, I got a new camera that has an A/V cable that I can plug into my TV and record directly from there. The one problem is that when I plug the cables into my TV, nothing shows up on the LCD screen; all I see is a black screen. Is there a specific part of the TV where you need to plug the A/V cable into?
