Here are my favorite games, according to their systems:

NES: The Super Mario Bros. Trilogy.
SNES: Super Mario Worlds 1 and 2, and Super Mario RPG.
N64: Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Paper Mario.
GCN: Paper Mario:TTYD, Mario Kart: DD., Super Mario Sunshine.
GBA: Mario Advance Games.
DS: M&L:PiT, NSMB, MKDS, SM64DS.
GBC: Wario Land 3 (is this considered a Mario game?)

Yeah, it was a truly awesome game. Of course The original game was the best. It brought Gaming out of the slum that Atari created With abominations for the 2600, like E.T. and Pac-Man (the 2600 version). It is the reason gaming is like it is today. SMB is modern gaming's father. Not saying SMB 3 was bad though...It is second best, third being SM64.

Of course that just how I look at it.

Here's my lineup for the best three mario games i've played:

#3. Super Mario world: IS one of the best games out there.
#2. Super Mario 64: Was also nominated for the best game ever.
#1. Super Mario All-stars, YOU CAN COUNCER ALL THE KINGDOMS! Without having to change the game pack.

Sorry, but I can't say I have 1 favorite Mario game. The best games I have ever played are all the Mario RPGs, and they are all even to me.

I'm not going to vote, as my favorite game is always changing. No, it's not based on what's out or popular, it is just always changing.

Currently my favorite game is Mario VS DK 2 on the DS.
