Okay... so what's wrong with the fact that I don't have the resources to see the more obscure anime? I've been anime for three years now. How does that make me a newbie? I've seen a couple of the feature films at my friends' houses... and I have to say that a lot of them I didn't like. I'm really not a fan of hentai, and that's what a lot of anime is. That's why I don't go out and buy anime that I'm not familiar with, it usually turns out to be porno.

I can't wait to get one, but I'm not paying 200 bucks! I have one of those old school monochrome gameboys (its lasted me for years!) so there are a lot of games that are gameboy color only that I want to try. Also, I can't wait for Banjo Kazooie advance!

They let you take japanese at your high school? They only let us take Spanish and French at ours. I have this obsession with language, so I'm taking 4 years of Spanish and 2 of French. I'm a junior now, just if anyone was curious.

I've only ever seen a few of the different anime series (the ones I've seen are DBZ, Gundam Wing, Digimon, Sailor Moon, Tenchi, Outlaw Star and Big O), since I have no way OF seing them (only on Cartoon Network). I can't stand the little kid ones, and I don't really like the anime that's all fighting and no plot, I like comedy more than action. After Tenchi, I like DBZ the best. Did anyone see that movie, Dead Zone? I just watched it this morning. I like the part when Gohan gets wasted after eating hallucinogenic apples ;p

ARG!! i love Harvest Moon! The SNES version took me forever to track down, but it was worth it. The gameboy versions lack a little bit (cuz you can't get married, among other things) And the N64 version is one of my favorite games for the system. Gotta love Harvest Moon! Whou would have thought that a FARMING rpg would turn out to be so cool?

I guess that is pretty true. Someone starts by emulating a few harmless atari games, and then it mushrooms into this big n64/playstation/dreamcast emu addiction (I guess atari/nes/ other old school stuff is the marijuana of the rom world? LOL). But still, what did they lose if I downloaded the Final Fantasy game for NES that wasn't ever available in America? Nothing. If anything, they gained a new fan. I never liked the Final Fantasy games until I played that one. If anything, it would increase their fame. And I wouldn't go up to any non-obsolete system anyway, both because of my horrendously slow and amnesiac computer (mega low memory for the newer, bigger games) the fact that i already own an N64 (and pretty soon a dreamcast) and playstation sucks ass!

Yeah, emulation is one of those things that is "illegal", but people do it anyway. I really don't see what the problem is with emulating NES games, though. Its obsolete, so nintendo can't make any money off of it. Besides, if they would have been smart enough to make them so they didn't break after two years (I went through three of them), I wouldn't have to use an emulator to get my old school fix. I am however, really against emulating N64, dreamcast, playstation, and any other non-obsolete system.
