Rush Limbaugh compared George Bush to Jesus--my ass, he's talking sense.

Yeah, Warp is right. The touch screen controls kill it. That and the physics engine. See, my biggest qualm with the game is that the entire game's concept is for you to be creative. But the controls absolutely prevent any creativity from taking place in the actual puzzles. A good example would be this:

There's one stage where you essentially just have to run down a big hill and get to the end of the stage, so in other words the average person is gonna go "Okay! Time to make a vehicle!" Well, me being creative, I spawned a sled, used some ropes to attach it to a dinosaur, then attached a piece of meat to a fishing pole and made it so the dinosaur would pull me. Well after a few seconds my plow started sinking into the ground, until finally it went all the way through and killed me. I was annoyed but figured it was a fluke. I tried it again but with a triceratops since I thought i might've been going too fast. It happened again. So the third time I was tired of wasting time by spawning things and, you know, trying to have fun, and instead I just spawned a motorcycle and beat the level with that.

Also going back to the physics problem I mentioned. There's a level where you have the star frozen in some ice above lava, and a tripwire in front of it. So I attached the ice block to an ankylosaur. I tripped the tripwire, the ice block pulled the ankylosaur back and everything fell in the lava, game over. Repeat with an elephant. Same result. Repeat with a bus/ Same result. So I go onto Gamefaqs to see how to do it, what was the solution? Attach the rope to an eagle and have it fly towards some food, and that worked. Okay, so an eagle flying is more powerful than a dinosaur/bus? I don't know, it's just insanely frustrating...

My mistake, when I checked Metacritic a few days ago it was scoring higher than GTA, but I didn't check when I made this topic. It's still higher on Gamestats however, which takes user review scores from other sites into its tally as well. My bad, I should've checked.

And WarpRattler, my point wasn't "Go out and buy this game immediately now that you know it's scored highly on a couple of reviews." I was trying to show that I found it remarkable that it's scoring highly from virtually everyone, and that on Gamestats, it's the highest handheld game ever rated. See, I can agree with you on the idea that it's dumb to base a purchase off one review. However, when a game gets universal acclaim like that, it's a big deal.

P.S.CrossEyed put it well. Partners in Time is by no means a bad game. It's just not a fantastic game like every other Mario RPG game.

So the Senate voted down a motion that would add a statement into any upcoming healthcare bills that would regulate the distribution by requiring citizens to provide proof of their identity before they can collect healthcare benefits. Essentially it's just a measure to prevent illegal immigrants from getting free healthcare.

...why the hell would anyone want to vote that down?

Well, we already deviated from my original statement which I'll admit was a little stupidly hyperbolic, pages and pages ago so...  No one is really arguing that anymore.

I'm a big advocate of free will. I just have a lot of faith in the human spirit and mind. I really believe we can choose our own destinies. Other cliched lines. Etc...

I bought this game since I bought into the hype like everyone else, only to find it to be one of the most disappointing experiences of my entire life. I haven't played such a glitchy, broken game since I was like 8 years old and bought Babe: Pig in the City for Game Boy Color. I know the population is more or less split down the middle right now, most people either hate it or love it. I hate it and want to get rid of it as quickly as I am physically capable of doing. Where do you fall?

After universal acclaim from the game critique industry, tracking sites such as Gamestats and Metacritic currently show Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story the highest review/rating average of any handheld game made in history. Or at least since reviews began to be tracked.

Regardless, I was surprised at how fantastic the game is. I wasn't keeping track of it at all until about a week before it came out since like a lot of people the story concept put me off a little. When people were telling me it was the best in the series, I flat out denied the possibility and refused to bellieve it could be true. But I was pleasantly wrong. Let us discuss how amazing the game is.

Trainman is right. Weed is a lot like alcohol. Anytimes I've been drunk, I haven't made an ass of myself simply because I already possess a metric ton of self-control. So when I am drunk, yeah I might throw in a few more expletives and slightly cruder jokes, but it's not like I'm stumbling around half naked while trying to make out with the nearest piece of furniture. Weed and alcohol are actually incredibly similar if you think about it...

I don't think its fair to blame religion for the problems of the world, considering these conflicts arise due to man's ignorance and inability to practice their faiths correctly. It's like the old saying with firearms... Guns don't kill people, criminals do.

Of course, that doesn't really help my point if you're pro-gun-control...

Yeah it's pretty fun to quote things that were never stated. Watch I'll show you how to quote for real.

I'm trying to figure out why you're still here.

Hey, I gotta troll somewhere.

Go ahead, troll it. I grew to hate that place in a matter of weeks since it's made up of people in their 40s who still use the internet. The collective community there somehow manages to be lamer than the one here.

Am I the only person who likes the fact Nintendo localizes gay/transgender/transvestite characters out of my games?

In this topic: People pretend they're on 4chan by posting image responses.

On topic, I'm not saying potheads everywhere are saints, I'm just saying they're not all like the ones you seem to be around. I've hung out with many people who do pot regularly who don't impose it on you and then bite your face off if you don't want any. Not all are like that either. It's a mix.
