Do you think Nintendo has marketed the Mario Party franchise for too long? The first few games were fun, indeed. But Mario Party 6 will be the second Mario Party game released this year! Isn't that a bit too much? I think Nintendo needs to take a break from all the Mario Party games, and instead focus more on their other franchises.
I'm glad Nintendo hasn't over-produced the Mario Kart franchise, because that would be just too much!

Either way, at the rate that they're cranking out Mario Parties, there's going to be one year with two Mario Parties released. Well, actually, if you count the Gameboy Mario Party and the Gamecube Mario party 6, you get 2 realeases for 2004 I suppose...

I was Mario Party'd out after the 3rd one...
Although I might buy the Game Boy MP game, probably only because it will cost 30 bucks and not 50. (I might buy the 6th if my luck in poker improves... hopefully... Although I got my eye on that new Paper Mario game that is in another thread here)

I'm sick of them; sort of. THEY NEED NEW MISSIONS. That's what I don't like. I'm sick of the "Save Dream Depot," "Get Bowser," and "Save Gay World" crap. The new "levels" you play when Bowser challenges you to beat him are getting annoying. They are too easy and time-consuming. You jump over things, then throw things at him. Wow-we-be...
Do you ever get so mad that you hit something, then when you hit whatever you were gonna hit, it hurts making you even MORE mad?

I have MP4 but not MP5. I think that MP4 is too time consuming, trying to get you to get every present for every character. I haven't played MP5 yet, so I'll have to take your word for it, Meowrik.

MP6 is coming out. No more stupid board games! I hope they take those out and start making the series pure mini-games.

It's still the same. They should take out the board maps because that's just too boring. The mini-games are perfect though. Just those board maps, ugh, boring.

I believe if the Mario Party series keeps on selling so very well, Nintendo will keep on deciding to publish more titles in the future...

To make the next Mario Party more interesting, my friend and I are going to turn off mini-game explanations for our first time through, and just dive right into every game without a clue on how to play.
I'm looking foward to it.

I love the minigames, but I hate having to complete the board maps to get them. Then there's that whole roulette thing to choose the game. It always lands on ones that I already have.

Yes, I definately agree. I loved the first three, yet I didn't like the fourth one for some reason. Maybe I'm just lazy.
I might check out the upcoming GBA Mario Party, however, but I doubt it.

Mario Party: Good
Mario Party 2: Worst
Mario Party 3: Really Good
Mario Party 4: Pretty bad
Mario Party 5: Excellent
As you can see, 2 and 4 were the worst in my opinion.

They're all kind of the same to me. Just a couple of different board maps. That's why I stopped buying them after the first two. Though, I did like 4 when I played it...

Eh, they've all got their points, in my opinion. 2 introduced the concepts of duels, battle games, and items, and had, in my opinion, one of the best duels ever. 4's best point was that all of its mini-games were really fun.

I've had bunches of fun in MP4 multiplayer, even though I didn't care for the all the events on the boards that randomly chose your fate.
MP5 has a much-improved 1-player mode. Can't comment on the multiplayer yet.

Hey guys, slow down. I'm a HUGE MP fan, so I love all of'em, with their boring parts and all. Eventually, after you haven't played them for a long long time, you find it entertaining again. So, if you're so sick of MP games, stop playing them!!! But let the others have fun. I'm done. Peace to y'all!!

I like all Mario Party games, but I'm just saying 2 and 4 were the inferior ones.
Mario Party-e is very fun. I own the game and it's a good waste of $10.
