Nintendo of America issued a new press release detailing sales figures for a number of their key titles. Super Mario Galaxy 2 (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/smg2) has sold more than five million copies in the U.S., but it's far from the best selling Wii Mario game -- Mario Kart Wii (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/mkwii) still holds that title. Total U.S. sales for Mario's Wii and 3DS games are as follows:
* Mario Kart Wii (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/mkwii) - 11.3 million
* New Super Mario Bros. Wii (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/nsmbwii) - 8.86 Million
* Super Smash Bros. Brawl (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/ssbb) - 5.43 million
* Super Mario Galaxy (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/smg) - 5.04 million
* Super Mario Galaxy 2 (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/smg2) - 5 million
* Super Mario 3D Land (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/sm3dl) - 1.85 million
* Mario Kart 7 (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/mk7) - 1.45 million
