Hey,

I just found out that nobody seems to know how to get Toad in SMPRG. I can't believe it! Sorry to bore all of you who actually play the game thoroughly, but I've got to tell everyone who doesn't know. However, for the sake of fun, I will not tell you. I'll just give hints. anyone interested, reply.

OK, so you want to know how to get Toad, huh?
Well for now I'll just give you a hint. Toad has a weird habit of showing up where? Well, usually when you need to know how to do something or when he needs you to rescue him, right? Now think about that. and you might want to to look in those places. I'll keep the hints coming if you're still interested.

OK, OK, but I'm not going to give it to you that easily. Another hint: Toad is found where you need help or when he's in a fix, right? ya know how he's always getting into trouble. well, he'll be in a spot where you might go once or twice, but NEVER AGAIN.
(whoa! that let the cat out of the bag)
More hints coming, if your interested, or maybe I should forget it....

Ugh! No No No!

Here's another hint:
Many people think that Yoshi isn't
SMRPG. thats because the level to get to
    Yo'ster Isle isn't a required level.

I feel generous today, so I'll give you two more hints:
    GENO and MALLOW

At the risk of sounding like a complete ass if you guys are pulling our legs, is there a specific time when you have to go there, or is he always there?  Like, if I opened a completed file and screwed around in the forest for awhile would I find him, or is he gone by then?  I can't believe I'm even bothering to ask . . .

The forest place - good job!!! Now then, a new hint.

The Triforce kindof is related to Toad...
After all, not many really know how to get
it... For when, well maybe LINK can help you
 out...

Hello.

I don't know exactly what you're talking about but if you don't mind my saying that isn't very nice. Just tell them. And for crying out loud why don't you just tell them that you have to see link before doing it.
PS: that is what the clue means, right??

I have a rather strong feeling that the reason he doesn't come right out and tell us is that Toad isn't IN SMRPG.  If I'm wrong, well, so be it, but this sounds a bit . . . well, crap.  To me.

My God, you are lying, aren't you?
I talked to link and then combed every single spot in that dumb forest and all I got was toad standing next to a tree stump and when I talked to him he just said "Nice weather we're having, huh?"
Sheesh.

I AM DARK LINK AND SOON I WILL RULE THE LAND OF HYRULE, AND THEN THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM, AND THEN THE WORLD!!!

OK, let me just tell you. Sheesh. so much for a bit of fun

Go to rose town when Link is sleeping in the bedroom. then go to forest place. in the forest you have to pick all the mushrooms along the way. when you're at the part where you were chasing Geno, go right left right left forward left right, killing ALL the bad guys along the way. when you get there, if you did it right, Toad should be there, cornered by a bunch of weird characters who think that he's Culex. they'll start chasing mario down a long path. Anyways, Toad will do his little teaching thing on how to keep running faster. if you get touched by any of them, you'll have to do a fight. the sound is the same as the hammer bros fight. If you avoid them all toad will start falling behing. Mallow will steer everyone off to the side of the forest and grab toad with his long arms. then the weirdos chasing you will run onto the screen and say "where did they go?" and all that. then theyll start looking for you in the trees and you have to dodge all of them by hiding behind different bushes, kindof like when your hiding from booster. however, toad will get you caught and you'll have to fight them. then they'll quit in the end when you beatum up enough. the'll go onto a big flying ship and fly off. Toad'll say how can I thank you and all that. He'll give you an item that'll summon him to help you in "your hardest fights". take it but don't use it. instead, go to culex and have Mario use it. Toad will pop on the screen and say something like "uh oh, you'll need a lot of help" and then he'll help you fight. hes not very good, but there you have it.

Hey, yo_mahmood, do you have a ZSNES Savestate file of that place? If you do, send it 2 Deez, so he'll put it on his site for us to download. Don't e-mail me it, my email ain't working.

Thanks, yo_mahmood . . . I'll be sure to try it ASAP.  By the way, whether it works or not for me, I didn't mean any harm, really.  I've just been jaded by too many promises of odd and fantastic things in Mario 64, I guess.  :D  I would never haved guessed anyway, though, since I suck at finding codes.  Sorry if I offended you.

Of course, if it doesn't work, you're a complete *******.  Naaah, just kidding.  :D

Yah, ok. I guess I shouldn't have kept up that annoying slew of hints. I know how it feels (you would too if you've ever looked for the Triforce in Zelda: Ocarina of Time). I wish I had a Super Mario RPG ROM to begin with, but I can't find any. Even Better still, Paper Mario, but I can't find that either.

Wow! sounds like a fun mini(mega?)-game! What's the name of the Item Toad gives ya? is it a "Toad 'shroom" or a "Mushroom Cookie" or "Toad's cookie" or "'Shroom Pizza" or a "Toad Doll"? What are Toad's attacks? Petal blast, Veggie Throw, Toad Guard (if Peach uses him), or Poison Fungus?
