alrighty, and let me preface this by saying that I cannot post the sound clips, but I can prove it to anyone living close enogh to hear it in person. anyway:
awhile back I was chatting online with the illustrious Charles Martinet, and he relayed to me that he needed to find an MP3 of Watto from star wars, to do an audition or something. anyway I found him some lickity split. about a week ago, I felt comfortable enough to approach him and ask for a small favor. I wanted to change my windows start up sound and I asked if he might be able to find time to record a small snipit for me. he agreed, which blew me away. I didn't want him to get into legal trouble, so I asked him to do his regular voice and not the voice of Mario. well today I reminded him about it and asked for "This is Charles Martinet. Welcome to windows, Jared" yes My name is Jared...like the subway guy. so says back that he could do the Mario voice as long as I don't sell it. well I'm certainly hopping on that one, right? so this guy is so classy that he sends me 3 snipits
"Hello Jared, it's-a me, Mario. Welcome to windows. Wahoo!"
"Hello Jared, it's-a me, Mario. Have fun today. wa-ha!"
"Hello Jared. Have super duper fun today. Okie dokie? Wohoo!"

well I've been a Mario fan all my life, and I've been working on my own fan RPG based around SMB2, SMB3, SMW, and SML
I'm also friends with Charles Martinet, in fact that is the big story I wanna tell

Hi, I'm reletively new, My Name is the blue griffin, I'm a bigger fan of Luigi, Wario and Waluigi than of Mario, but I love that plucky pisano. anyway being a newb I have yet to figure out how to start a topic, because I have one incredible story to tell

I voted for Sub-Con because it was heck-a fun! I hope the sequel to NSMB takes place there. Wart was a cool villian.

I should clarify, I accept what Nintendo says is cannon, but for story purposes I'm keeping what I like best. My previous Mariology is really just what I'd do if I was in charge.

I loved those games, I think they are great, but I'm a moonlighting webcomic and I needed a way to keep a timeline or story and frankly I just wanted to create my own little mario world. I picked and chose which ones I liked and would include in the story is all, and I chose to leave Mario Kart, Party, and Sunshine off the map as it were, it makes my job fairly easy and not to mentio I never liked the story of Sunshine, the game itself was a blast. and because of the way I have everything set up it makes YI and YS a bit off so I just leave them out too...I loved both games however. I'm sure I'm not explaining this very well, or how it really should be, but Mario to me will always be Super Mario Bros. 3 so anything sufficiently different from it always seems a bit off. but no, I do enjoy all the mario games

Here's how I see it:
There is a planet on another plane of exsistance, this is the Mushroom Planet. it Exsists entirely seperate from the fictional earth where Mario and his Brother Luigi resided in Brooklyn. on the Mushroom Planet esists the weird worlds of The Mushroom Kingdom (as seen in SMB, SMB3, and NSMB only) Yoshi's Island and it's surroundings (as seen in SMW only)and Sarasaland(SML1 and I consider what takes place in SML2 to esist in Sarasaland as well). Subcon(as seen in SMB2) exsists in another dimention, all of the afforementioned places have magical hidden warp zones that connect them, Mario, after saving pauline from a large ape in a constucion disaster, went back home to his brother, whom had discovered a warp in their basement, strange creatures emerged and after a grueling battle the brothers were sucked in and thuis begins their journeys in SMB1. all the other stuff is, as I see it, not story-cannocal, all the other games are just an attempt to make a creative game using familiar characters, there is no Isle delfino, no go-kart tracks, none of it. The only exception, and I hate to admit it, is Bowser Jr. he is as I see it Bowser's 8th child, not his only son.

Over all I have to say I hate several characters equally.
Bowser Jr.- I love the koopalings and he killed them off with his arrival
"Peach"-I really get tired of saving her all the time, and I'd never pick her as a selectable character, I have put quotes around her name because even though I know her full name is Princess Peach Toadstool, I'll always call her Princess Toadstool
Toad-actually he was one of my favorite characters until they made his voice all gravally
Toadette-beating a dead horse

The Baby Bros. I understand that the prequels needed a younger version of the Bros. but as selectable characters I cannot stand them
Mallo-as soon as I can switch to Geno and Bowser I do, Mallow is a wuss and a crybaby and overall very annoying
Shy-Guys-actually I like them, what I don't like is how they suddenly showed up in the mushroom kingdom along with Birdo and a few others that are only supposed to exsist in Sub-Con
ok, my rant is over
PS: I Like daisy because she is from Sarasaland, and that is "cannocal Mario" to me
