Mario Chat / Re: Mariology (serious posts wanted)
« on: May 10, 2006, 08:11:05 PM »
What's up with the double post?
Another thing, we can safely infer that the Mario game chronology is just about the same as the release chronology, exceptions being games where the baby Mario Bros. are the stars which obviously happened first, and spinoffs which I think of as existing outside of time.
This may not be true...
It is just like what The Legend of Zelda timeline has. The first few games really had nothing to contribute to the actual story, maybe a few things, but Mario games are so different from each other, that, sometimes, maybe, they aren't in any order, just games made up by Nintendo. Its like, after the first Donkey Kong, Mario changed from construction to plumbing. Why? He still had overalls while building. The change wasn't clariified. Actually, I've never seen a Mario game where he is actually a plumber. Maybe Mario agmes aren't really connected at all, just games. They are all different stories.
Why, I sometimes doubt we're actually playing the same Mario from NES.

Video Game Chat / Re: Will Wii Make it?
« on: May 10, 2006, 08:03:03 PM »
Did Columbus Sail the Ocean Blue?
Did Elvis Presly die?
Did Jackie Chan do "Rumble In The Bronx"?
Did Jet Li do "Romero Must Die"?
Is Homer Simpson fat?
Is Deezer spelled D-E-E-Z-E-R?
Was I once drmario64?
Is George W. Bush a bad president?
Is Simon Cowell a mean one?
Am I getting repetitive?
Should I just stop not before hurting myself?

In short, yes, the Wii will make it.
But...
The name...
That is what bothers me...
Wii even name it the Wii?

Yup, to quote what i have said a long time ago...
"Mondays. The armpit of days. The days when i put the peanut butter on the bread before putting them in the toaster."
Ah, one last thing.
Does bread come into a toaster, or toast?
*Dun dun dun dun!*

"Watch your back, Alvin. I may be behind it."
Oooo...
I could never sleep safely again.

That's also the convenience store, 7-11!
Also, if you take my forum screen name (Glorb), convert it to numbers so that it's 6-12-15-18-2, then you can add those digits up to get 53. Then take my real-life name, Jimmy Sherrill, and make it 10-9-13-13-25 19-8-5-18-18-9-12-12 and add the total (171) to 53, you get 224! This, however, means nothing, really.

Notice your first two numbers. 2 plus 2 equals 4.

Okay, i've got a story...

When we came back from the Phillipines, we had to ride an airplane.
(Duh, we went across half the world)
Our longest flight was the one from Nagoya, Japan, to Detroit, lasting well more than 10 hours. The airplane movie, Fun With Dick and Jane was over, and mostly everyone was asleep. I as thirsty, so I called the stewerdess. A rather large one came up to me and asked with a gruff voice, iwith a hint of annoyedness, "What the heck do you want?" I told her I needed a coke. She grumpily went to the place where all foods are sored, made some rude moaning sounds, came back, and slammed the can on my little mini-table. The can was opened, so the coke flew in all directions, including my new shirt. She didn't even bother to ask me if I needed a tissue.
Grr...At least Hoodwinked was soon after.

Also, a little story i have to share. No angst. No maddness. just an odd little memory that might make somebody mad. For me, it was actually funny.
Forth grade. Playground. 12:30.
A group of new kids were asking for help on the faces and places of the school.
"Don't ever, ever, bother the Carla group". I pointed to a group of girls that were chatting on the blacktop.
*shivers*The Carla group. Led by Carla, the group was feared for their deadly actions, their ideas, their ways of tormenting prisoners, and, *gulp*, their freakishly small mini-skirts.
One of their generals have noticed my action, and informed Carla, who had barked orders to give chase. I noticed them moving at me. Yipe. They captured my poor self, and tied me under the slide with their sweaters. The boys group, The Revolutions, had noticed me soon after, and declared war on the Carla group, since I was Head of War Tactics and Veteran Spy (i had big, but strangely, silent feet, and I could sneak around like Sam Fischer)
The war lasted for seven days, which we properly dubbed "The Seven Day War", and ended with me and my men, 21 in all, tied to trees, poles, and other long, vertical objects. i got the Royal Treatment, as i was tied to upside down.
I think i hate all-girl school gangs, and being tied upside down.

Video Game Chat / Red Steel: New Shooter For Wii
« on: May 09, 2006, 12:38:40 PM »
Okay, before i give you the video, I have a few things to say about the game.
It looks really good.
I'm not exactly sure how you hold the controller, but the video shows you how to hold it. You can use guns, big suprise, but it seems that Ubisoft is beating Nintendo on having the Wiimote (Remote for the Wii) used like a sword. See sowrd action on the very last minutes. The game looks very appealing, and the graphics are much more than just a 'souped-up Xbox'. Look out for this game, as it is a launch title.

Heck, I'm watching the vid again!

I saw flying cotton balls.
Okay, seriously, I've seen a YELLOW bannana once, because it was sunset, so the light reflected off the cloud, thus turning it yellow, blah blah blah, call my AGENT!

"Holy Fried Eggs"? Didn't I make that up?

Yeah, you did.
Please don't cuss. The rule is that you have top be 13 to post replies in the FFs. But that doesn't mean you need to be 13 to read them. Let's all use replacements instead! What the fruit is going on? Holy fried eggs! I'm losing my mind!

A bird can fly… But a fly can’t bird!!!
I made up this new word while at vacation, and I wanted to share it with you.
The word "Klong" is a word to say if:
you are suprised
angry
upset
happy
any strong mood to be short
or its the word to say when you have no other word to say.

Yes my friends.
KLONG!

KING KLONG!
