Why don't they have avatars!?

I think we should be able to put avatars next to our user name like other chat sites, for example, I'm Yoshi Girl so I would put a yoshi by my username.

I think we should have avatars!!!

Heh, luxury features like that don't exist on a board like this. To my knowledge at least. Personally, I'd prefere an upgrade as well. However, it takes a lot of work and effort to get boards. A member, Jasoco if I remember correctly, suggested the use of phpBB in this thread:

it is free, but I'm sure it would take much work to do it. And if I know people, there will be plenty of volunteers. But, as a webmaster, it is difficult to trust other people, unless of course they are close friends. People often ask to be administrators and moderators, which becomes difficult to turn many down in a kind way. So, unless Deezer feels he can trust members of this board enough, and has the time to write what is needed, than I wouldn't foresee anything like avatars and html in the future. I would also like to state I wouldn't blame Deezer if he didn't trust the members enough.

Deezer could also use YabbSE. That has a good aviator system (You can even make you're own if you upload it to a web site). We might also get something called Karma, but they probably got rid of it altogether because too many people took it too seriously. I don't, but if I know the people here, kirby_101 would probably be at -255 or something.

I gave an example of what avatars were but I'll give an example again.

Example: Your user name is CashCrazed so you would have a "picture" of money or something else entirely different by your username.
