Title: Mario Superstar Baseball?

I can't seem to beat the challenge mode.  The A.I. is really cheap and annoying.  Any hints on beating challenge mode?  I seem to struggle mostly with pitching.

Try working on your pitching. That should help.

After you throw the ball, you still have some degree of control over it: if you angle it left or right, you may be able to throw the CP off balance. I've struck Bowser and DK (who have large hit zones) this way.
