Okay people, enough with the fixing of quotes. It has to stop. Every page of every thread I go to has at least one but usually more. They're rarely funny and usually just a boring correction you could have used big people words to explain.
And I'm well-aware someone is going to fix this very post. You're hilarious.

Yeah I thought about that post when I made this, but realized what really bugs me is people saying, "Fixed." and that's the whole post. I just threw my fix in with what I came to post anyway.

To be honest, the whole "fixed" thing is hit-or-miss, but I've seen some good examples of it. It's the kind of joke that only really works on the internet and think we shouldn't shoot down that kind of exclusivity.
Also, I always feel awkward about the use of "rape" when not pertaining to the actual act.

While the "Fixed" problem is getting fixed, I'm more concerned of the growing trend of replying to posts with nothing but a emoticon.

We do. They were taken out of the default forum theme a while ago, but the images still exist. You can embed the images for the emoticons in the posts.

That's kind of what I meant. You can input them, but it's not an option that's staring you in the face whenever you form a post.

Those ones are real. They're coded into the forum software, but they don't show up as clickable on any of the forum themes.
