Video Game Chat / Virtual Console Gift request thread

As Nintendo has just released a new version of the Wii Shop Channel enabling users to send games as gifts to their friends, I thought it would be neat to see what VC titles the people here at the Forums want. Post here, and who knows? Maybe someone'll be nice enough to give a gift!

General Chat / Nerdy internet connection question

Alright, here's a question for all you geeks out there: I want to use a computer running openSUSE linux as a router of sorts to connect another computer running Windows XP. If you don't get it, I'll try to explain it another way: I have two computers, one running openSUSE, one running XP. My DSL modem is connected to computer 1, the openSUSE one. This computer has two network cards. The "leftover" NIC (a.k.a. the one not connected to the modem) is connected to the NIC of computer 2, the XP one. What I want is for the internet connection from PC 1 to work on PC 2. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

Well, happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Since I didn't see this anywhere else, I figured that in celebration of a very thankful day, we could share what we're all thankful for. I mean, everyone's got to be thankful for something, after all.

To start things off, I'm thankful for caramel apples. They're good, you know?

So yeah, I made me a MIDI, and I must say, I am quite proud of myself. Eventually, this song will be used as the battle tune in an RPG I'm making, but for now, it just kinda sits on my computer.

Mario Chat / Favorite Rainbow Road Song

So I'm sure we all love the music from Mario Kart's Rainbow Road tracks. I mean, I don't know anyone who dislikes them. So which song is your favorite? I personally like the one from Super Circuit, just because it's so... different. It's unique, you know? I like the grandeur of Double Dash's song, but SC takes my vote here.

Alright, I just wanted to start a new topic today, don't really know why, but I thought this would be a good conversation starter. So, as usual, the title describes it all. What makes you say the famous TMK phrase, "What the dukar?" Let the world know!

As for me, I say "What the dukar?" when I see a totally ridiculous post here on the FF. Something wiht a lott uv speeling erurz end stuf. Kinda like that sentence.

Then again, would you call it famous...?

• F-1 World Grand Prix
• Diddy Kong Racing
• Nascar '99

I also have some PlayStation (original) games:

• Monsters Inc: Scream Team
• Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase
• Pro Pinball:Fantastic Journey
• SpongeBob SquarePants: Supersponge

Once again: I'm looking for Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and Possibly Kirby: Squeak Squad.
No, I will not trade all of these games for those two only.

Hey all. I'm trying to install ubuntu Linux in a Virtual Machine and I need some help. (The vm is Microsoft Virtual PC 2004) Every time I try to install the OS, Windows gives me a message and tells me that "Virtual PC has experienced an error and needs to close." Yipes. Almost as bad as the infamous Blue Screen of Death! (gulp). Anyone know something that could help?
