Subject + direct object + verb
If it was in English, it would translate to "I Japanese teach," but in
Japanese, the sentence is "Boku wa nihongo o oshiemasu."
Key:
Boku - Polite masculine form of "I"
Wa - Particle (more on that later)
Nihongo - Japanese
O - Particle
Oshiemasu - Will teach or teaching
~ PARTICLES ~
The world "particle" refers to a word that has no translation in English. The particles are key elements in a Japanese sentence, here are some of the most commonly used particles: Wa - It indicates the topic of the sentence (often the subject) Ni - It indicates to a place (has other meanings, but let's save those for later)
E - Like ni, it indicates "to a place"
O - Indicates the direct object
De - Indicates an action being done in a place
For example: Boku wa gohan o tabemasu means "I eat rice." or "I will eat rice." The wa indicates that "I" is the topic (or subject, in this case) of the sentence. All particles FOLLOW the word that they indicate, so it is Boku WA, not WA Boku. The "o" indicates that the gohan (rice) is being eaten, hence it is the direct object. Again, it's Gohan O not O Gohan.

And I thought, "hey, it isn't fair that we, the Virtual Mushroomers, can only pick between two choices when selecting a Virtual President." And then, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

Then I thought, 'Wait a bit, we don't have a subway station here in La Plata. There are only subways in Buenos Aires, capitol of the country. This is La Plata, capitol of the PROVINCE (it's like States in U.S) of Buenos Aires (it's like New York, New York, but with NYC as the capitol of the U.S., and uhhh... i don't know, another city being NY State capitol) of Buenos Aires. How weird. Then I woke up and remembered that this is a politycal campaign and not a humour thingie.

Judging by the trash on the floor and the streamers, I'm guessing there was once a topic here.
The scuff marks on the floor indicate that there was at least one important person here; maybe a manager or someone in administration.
Tiny notes and scraps line can be found in largish piles. One of them says "$$Wario$$ for president!".
Here's an article from 'The Mario Weekly Times Herald Daily Star Tribune': "Mr. Face missing, presumed chained to a block in popular internet radio station for promotional purposes. Police stumped 'We have no leads!', says one puzzled officer."
Something has definately happened here, but it must have been several weeks ago. Fresh footprints indicate that someone left recently, but I can't be certain.

I Am Back!!!!!!!!
Woo-hoo!! After like, 2 months of real life, I've decided to take a look at the Forums. Wooo! I'm so happy!
Anyway, and as always, it's late (almost 12:00 p.m., I mean, a.m. of the next day, or, whatever), so I can't write much. I know it sounds stupid, but it's kinda exiting being sitting here, writing, remebering good moments, and Wow! Yeah, I'm having a great time.
Tomorrow I have to go to school, yet I passed every subject! Reasons?
1) They still count how many times you miss classes, so, if I stop going, I'll fail EVERY suject and I'll have to go to school on December (just for the record, here every course starts in March and ends in early December - that is, next week I think. I believe that in your place you start at August or something and end at June. How weird).
2) I wanna see my friends! This is the final year, and next year I'll go to a different school (I'll start some sort of highschool we got here, but it only has 3 years and I'll be 15 while entering. Grade school has 9 years. It used to be different before, 7 and 5 instead of 9 and 3).

Whoops, my dad just woke up and told me to go to bed. I guess I woke him up with the keyboard noises. 'It's only been 10 minuts since you went to bed and I said I would go to bed soon', I said, and he answered 'I know how this things end. You remain awake for half an hour'. What could i say? ;)
(I gotta say, I still argued a little -'If you think so, that's not my problem' and sorts of, he said nothing and went to bed. What a bad child I am).

I guess that what I mean is that sometimes I'm a bit defensive with American-related stuff, I mean, with McDonald's and American movies all around you, you think there's some sort of message like 'Love America. It's better.' But that doesn't make America evil, though. It might make Mc Donsld's and alike evil ('being American is cool, taste what being an American is, buy our hamburgers'- hey that sounded like a commercial). Who knows. I'm sleepy, so i can't really explain what I mean, but believe me this:
a) I don't hate America, nor Americans (that means I don't hate Americans, in case I'm confused and mis-using the word 'nor').
b) I love you guys! :)
c) I think America is just as good or bad/evil (same word in Spanish, but I think the meaning can vary, so I put both English words- still, kids always say 'good guy and bad guy', not 'evil guy') as the other countries. The thing is, the more power, the more pain they can cause to the world. )

Does anyone else remember when there was an unofficial competition between "Mr. Face?" and "Word Association" for most replys? Last I remember, word association had over a thousand.
Just to spice thing up a bit:
I think the United States should just go ahead and buy Canada. We could probably get it for, oh, 50 dollars or so. That's American dollars, by the way. It would just be so much cheaper for us if we owned them, because as it is we pay unbelievable tariffs on Canadian products like comedians and actors. What do you guys think?

I never come back here anymore but I always have good memories. I hope you haven't changed your post bumping policies and this doesn't upset anyone.
I was 13 years old the first time I wrote in this forums, and I just turned 23 last week. So it's nice to see everything is still up. I think I'll go on a nostalgia trip and copypaste old discussions into my hard drive.
