You can still see users' avatars from their profile page when using the default theme, but whatever. Reading messages is infinitely more entertaining when reading them in the supposed voice of their respective posters' image. In particular, viewing Mr. Wiggles' posts in tandem with his avatar is nice because it lets me imagine that girls inhabit this forum.

So you imagine me and Lizard Dude as disembodied voices from the heavens?

Pretty much, save for that "heavens" bit.

You read posts in the voices of whatever avatar is in use?

What kind of freak are you?
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

Anyone with half an eye knows that white on black is infinitely easier to read than black on white.
That was a joke.

So highlight the text you're reading and you'll still be able to see avatars.

You assume that I care about avatars or something.
That was a joke.

Edit:  Oops.  I think it's starting to fall.

I don't think it was so much a bump as it was a reminder to the mods that the issue hasn't yet been resolved.
