General Chat / Re: Songs That Get Stuck in your Head
« on: June 09, 2005, 11:26:44 PM »
The new System of a Down hit "BYOB". The chorus gets stuck in my head. It's very reggae-ish.

Also, We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister

That's what's been stuck in my head for the past few days.

General Chat / Re: Are You in a Rock Band?
« on: June 09, 2005, 11:17:26 PM »
heh. Screech, you're a bad roadie at that. -_~ I may end up starting a band, but it won't be heavy or anything. It'll be more like Incubus if anything. However, I don't have a name, and I honestly still have to find some people. But it's on the 'to do list'. hehe. Yeah, Illicium is an alright band, but it's hard for me to judge them b/c my best friends are in it. I really don't like the screaming stuff, but it's all a matter of preference of style.

Video Game Chat / Re: PS2 or XBOX??

oh wow. . ."Hard Choice", he said scarcastically. I would keep the PS2 no competition. it has SquareEnix games. . .Square UNCROSSED, because Square still plays a major part in the game making and production.

Also b/c of the many many many games that it has already released already named as best selling video games. Like I said, no competition.

hmm. . .things that annoy me?

-Something sharp like a razor or metal with an edge draging accross the surface of my fingernail, or even digging into my fingernail.
-Heavy storms, i have tornado anxiety big time.
-shaving
-Guys touching my hair (it's not homophobia it's just i have this thing where only girls are allowed to play or touch my hair)

If I went any further, it would just be pet peeves. But those things really bug me. Have fun.

General Chat / Re: Do you got a girlfriend?
« on: June 02, 2005, 08:12:47 PM »
Hmm. This is a tough one. I just went through a breakup, although mutual (I think) it was still a breakup.

My ideal girl is very intelligent. But not extremely outspoken. Of course, she's gotta be nice. Also, she wouldn't need any kind of hint or suggestion from me to be intimate. I like physical contact, and I like attention and LOVE to give attention.

She wouldn't be too independent because I like to help and I like to do things for her. But independent enough not to rely on me for everything, be a dits, or clumsy. And this is one of my pet peeves, but I really like punctuality. No being late. I think that a girl that wants to be a little early is attractive to my mind. I'm drawn to people like that. (well sort of :: cough :: screech :: cough ::)

Also, I would enjoy being with her out of school and not at my or her house. She has to have a sense of adventure. I really like adventure, like a sudden want to just go riding in the countryside, or a hike through the woods, or a random call wanting to go to the local mall or see a movie.

Also, this is a big thing I believe for everyone, she MUST accept me for who I am. I shouldn't have to hide one thing about myself from her that may change the way she feels about me. It sounds demanding with the "MUST" and all, but it is a must. Also, she, like myself, would keep little things secret just to keep them erm 'sacred' i suppose. Y'know those little moments where you look into her eyes and you know she's the one, or the first kiss. Stuff like that. Those moments are the most precious to me and I wouldn't be with a girl if she didn't keep the secret moments 'sacred'. Also, she must be her own person.

Not letting friends control who she is or letting a friend get in the way of us as a couple. When I ask for privacy, I don't want a nosy friend tailing us five feet away. Also, I'd respect her even more if I'm not head over heels for her by now, I'd probably implode with love if she were that way. It means she is somebody completely original and lets no outside fluences affect her.

Also, she's gotta love music. Music is the life of everything in my opinion. As Jimi Hendrix said, "Acting, Music, Art, andything like that is very earthly and it can be replaced by nothing." It'd be nice if music were a strong trait in her. Singing. . .playing, whatever.

Anyways, there's my very ideal girl. However, there seems to be many, I understand that there is no such thing as perfect and Four or five out of the ones listed would be VERY Ideal in my eyes. Speaking of eyes. It would be nice if she were attractive, however, I do not let my eyes judge who I would date.

Well, there you have it, the perfect girlfriend for Gunblade88

Mario Chat / Re: Paper Mario: The 1000 Year Door....

Well, I beat the game and I have to say now, that my favorite ally in battle is Bobbery, out of battle is Yoshi, and personality wise, Vivian. But wow, this game was really really good :D The final boss was really easy for me though. . .I fought the boss at level 28. I could have gained more, but I got bored :P

My least favorite character in this game is bowser, although playing as him brings back a small sense of nostalgia. :: wink wink ::

This is now my second favorite game on Gamecube.

« on: January 06, 2005, 01:25:42 PM »
Resolution? That's a funny thought. In my opinion resolutions are just promises that most people don't keep for themselves. But don't mind me, I promise myself stuff that I don't keep all the friggin time :P So I'm like every other person in the world. If i had one, it would to start working out on my weight set every afternoon instead of playing Paper Mario 2. ((blasphemy huh?)) But I really wanna get cut now since I've already built my muscles up. . .anyways, I'm sure that's the last thing that all of you want to hear. :P

Video Game Chat / Re: NDS vs. PSP debate
« on: January 06, 2005, 12:41:01 PM »
Lol. Yeah, I heard about the FFIII remake but really, I'm waiting for the FF games that are coming out on PSP moreso than the DS, although you do make a good point. I really don't think one holds a higher position in my eye too great too really tell. Of course, my biased views towards sony wins me over. What is this of that Egg Monster Heros though. I can't say I've ever heard of it. Maybe you could email me some info on it or something, but mostly the Square Enix strengths are the Star Ocean and the Final Fantasy lines.

Video Game Chat / Re: FINAL FANTASY FOREVER!!
« on: January 06, 2005, 11:58:08 AM »
Yeah, AC is a movie. I really wanna see it too, however I don't think it's in the US yet. I was watching G4/TechTV and this show came on and was talking about Final Fantasy, talking about the best male, female, summon, nemisis, and such and btw, Cloud won best male, Aeris won best female, and Sephiroth won best nemisis. :P I knew that would happen of course ;) Anyways, on that show there was a square enix guy who mentioned a complete remake of the FFVII game. But of course it could have been some kind of publicity thing. Anyways, the thought is cool.

I heard about that vincent shoot em up game. It sounds pretty cool, but as far as the Before Crisis game though, it doesnt' exactly sound cool.

Anyways, I'm sure you're sick of hearing from a fanboy of FF ((even though i'm sure there are more out there))

Apologies for the erm. . .triple post. But I would like to bring to attention that Final Fantasy VII is supposed to have a remake on the PS2. The graphics are going to be improved :: dances with joy ::. The music i think will be left alone ((It'd better!!)) and everything is supposedly going to be updated and remade. . .like the Starwars special edition. . . ::looks at ground:: wow, what a dork i've become. Anyways, those people who happen to love final fantasy as much as I, theres' the news. Isn't it wonderful?

Oh. .. btw, is Black Mage still posting on these boards?? I haven't seen him around ((of course, I haven't exactly been around either))
