Well, actually, the stork was attacked while it was flying to Brooklyn, and Kamek attacked it over Yoshi's Island. So when Yoshi rescued the stork in YI, it flew them over to Brooklyn.

It's definitely Brooklyn because of SMB:SS, the original NES games and the film.

Cheers,

Matt

No, the question is "Who is lucky enough to live somewhere where the Gamecube is out?"

Because it's not out in England yet for some really stupid reason.

They're definitely from Brooklyn. Forgetting the film, I'm sure there were references in the cartoons and Super Show, and magazines etc.

I liked Super Mario Kart (SNES), but I only played Super Mario Kart 64 once, so I can't really comment on it, other than it looked nice.

That's technically inaccurate, because look at SMRPG. That came out a long time after SMB3 (towards the end of the SNES's reign) and they were still calling her Toadstool quite obviously then.

Todd: I have been with Mario since SMB on the NES, and I do know the current names for the Princess and the end boss, however I do not like and will not accept Peach as her name. This is because it is the Japanese name, and has only been used here in England more recently because Shigs didn't like the name Toadstool. Before he complained (about the era of SM64 or Yoshi's Safari) it was ALWAYS Toadstool here. I prefer that name, as it is the original from the good old NES days, hence I will continue to use it. Apparently Daisy is supposed to be the same person, but they got it wrong somewhere, but since they DID get it wrong they have capitalised on that by putting two princesses in the same game.

(Sorry, a bit off-topic)

RNK: At the risk of saying something you already thought of, what about emulating a NES or SNES, and playing the ROMs? Can't give links to the sites from here, though, that would get people in trouble, just use a search engine, and (ahem) remember you must delete all ROMs you don't own within 24 hours... :)

I know it's her first name NOW. Why did they have to change it? When SMB came out, they hadn't even thought of it in England (only Japan I believe). The only reason why they changed it, is because apparently Shigs didn't like Toadstool, he thought it was an ugly name or something, but it is the original name which is why it is special.

Matt
