I just thought I'd brag about my exciting games and consoles. They are extremely rare!

Famicom Disk System

Doki Doki Panic (French version) (FDS)
Volleyball (Side A)
Soccer (Side B)
Lagrange Point (VRC7)
King of Kings (N106)
Erika To Saturo (N106)
Final Lap (N106)

Gameboy Games
Gameboy Wars
Yakuman
Kaeru no Tameni Kaneha Naru Came

I may have forgotten some other stuff.

What cool things do you own?

Doki Doki Panic (French version) (FDS)

!!!

The closest thing I've got to any rare cool stuff is a store demo version of Sonic the Hedgehog for Genesis.

I only have one import game. Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4. I bought this one back when I was obsessed with Naruto. I stopped watching/reading Shippuden and began hating Naruto for some stupid reason I can't remember. The story is too riveting to stay mad at it for long.

EDIT: Eh, I guess that was a tad off topic. The sad thing is I can't play the game on my Wii 'cause after a certain number of updates, the [darn] system prevents you from using a Freeloader.

The only interesting things I have are a Japanese version of Burgertime Deluxe (no Japanese text, so it's pretty much identical to the US version) and an Australian copy of Tetris Blast. For non-import stuff, I have the display version of Meteos and a top-loading NES.

I also forgot to mention that I have a Super Gameboy 2 and a Super Gameboy Commander!

As for the European goodies I have
Game Boy gallery (5 Games in 1) (Two game carts, Two Boxes, one manual, one very complete)
Mario's Picoss (JUE version)
Fifa soccer 98

As for possible beta games
Lion King (Gameboy)
Super Breakout (Gameboy
Frogger (Gameboy)
Some other game

Tetris Gameboy (Should have music 1.1 but has 1.0 music but everything else to make it seem 1.1)

I don't remember what else I have. I'll have to post pictures sometime.

I've never imported, but I'm tempted to get ahold of Mother 3 (and download R*M/English patch) and maybe some other, lesser GBA titles (Stafy, Rhythm Heaven, what have you).

My uncle has that freakin' awesome Zombie vs. Ambulance game for PS2 at his place. That game is the only game worth importing ever.

Not For resale or demo? BTW I opened my Doki Doki Panic and played it because I was bored now I regret it.

Uh... you realize that you can probably still import Mother 3 for about $40?

I thought I was lucky to have the Famicom Mini SMB2(j) cart (http://gameboy.ign.com/objects/691/691951.html) for the GBA and a Chinese SMB2(j) guide to go with it.

EDIT: Wow. Can't find a picture or description of that guide anywhere, so here are a couple of pictures...

What I really would like to find are the Japanese Super Mario Advance 4 e-Reader cards, but the chances of finding them, as well as a Japanese SMA4 cart and a Japanese eReader, are one in a million...
Title: Re: My awesome import game collection
Post by: Chupperson Weird on February 03, 2009, 09:59:15 PM
You wouldn't need a Japanese SMA4 or a Japanese e-Reader. Not that they would be particularly hard to come by.
Title: Re: My awesome import game collection
Post by: WarpRattler on February 03, 2009, 10:32:16 PM
The e-Reader isn't region-free. To use the cards that weren't released in the US, he would in fact need a Japanese e-Reader. Not that it would be particularly hard to come by.

I thought so, and I wouldn't trust the cards that did stuff like change 1-up Mushrooms to 3-up Moons to work on an American copy of SMA4. I would have thought the Japanese e-Reader hard to find, though, and certainly the cards themselves.

Yeah... because they would really have to write completely different code to make the same game for America. (Not)

You get "region Error" that is the only time region lockout is acceptable. I still want those classic Japan-only levels from Series 3 and 4.

I now have

X and some other Japanese Gameboy games
Pro Action Replay MK3 for SNES
Gold Xevious Famicom cart

That's all worth mentioning... the rest is well not important in terms of rarity and imports.

Not very amazing but I have a Famicom, a Famicom Disk System, Doki Doki Panic (Rarely works though), Super Mario Bros.,  Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels/2, Return of Mario and something I can't prononce Mario on a Famicom Disk, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario Bros. 2/USA, Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Gaiden.

I have an English to Japanese game converter for the SNES and I own Fire Emblem Monshou no Nazo (Mystery of the Emblem), Fire Emblem Seisen no Keifu (Genealogy of the Holy War), and Fire Emblem Thracia 776.

I can play the games without understanding Japanese for some of them but others I can't play because I have no idea how to speak Japanese.
