Well, Mother's Day is coming up soon!  You'll want to give her something that she will love and cherish in your heart.  What will you do for her?  What will you do for the greatest woman of your life who has given birth to you, changed your reeky diapers, helped you through your stupid homework, and bought you all of those Mario games for birthdays and Christmas?

I thought this would be fun to talk about.  What are YOU going to do for your wonderful mom on mother's day?  Breakfast in bed?  Make dinner?  Give her a card?  Flowers?  Chocolate?  Or maybe just stay out of her hair for one whole day. :)

For me, I'm not quite sure.  I'm going to write in a card for her and both of my grandparents are coming to our house for dinner and will get flowers and stuff.  How about you?

Mario Chat / The song that will never die

Hey everyone again!  Another topic and another one about favorite things.  Okay, this time I was just wondering, what are your favorite versions of the SMB overworld song? (or any Mario song!  Topic updated!)  There has to be like at least 50 of those, right?  Man, that song is going to be around forever I bet.

Anyway, my favorite version of that song so far is probably the one in the first SSB (also played shortly in Melee) that had the horns, but the one in PM:TTYD was also catchy. Oh, and I gotta mention this... one song I heard at OC Remix made me laugh for awhile.  The instruments kept changing, volume would shot up at one point, you could hear Mario's voice part way through (along with some little kid's), and these two guys were rapping about noodles.  Heh heh.  So what's your favorite version?

Okay, I’ve now decided that the time has come for me to start making more topics.  I usually try to avoid adding more to the never-ending list because I’m afraid that it already exists and I’m just wasting my time (which is probably the case here), but no more of that!  I’m going to swallow my fear and just do this and I don’t care who don’t like it, no sir!

Well, I guess I should probably get to the point now.  Like the title says, you can talk about anything you want that’s related to your favorite commercials made for video games (and not just Nintendo either!).  But I’ve also got some other ideas of things to discuss here as well so I’m going to just mix them together in one topic for more to talk about and let people choose.  Here’s what I had in mind:

(1) Favorite VG commercials
(2) Favorite music in a VG commercial
(3) Your own wacky ideas of commercials for old or new games
(4) What you think the ad for Mario in DDR will be like

So one of my favorite commericals so far would probably be the one for M&L:SS.  Seeing Mario and Luigi as children and fighting each other with the whistling in the background was pretty funny.  It also inspired me to conjure a similar one like it for Super Mario Sunshine with Mario dousing his friends and family with water as he grew up (and you can read about it in one of the mailbags if you want).  For music, I liked the songs chosen for the Minish Cap and also Mario Pinball.  And finally, I’m guessing that MDDR will involve either dancing plumbers or people in Mario costumes getting’ shiggy wit it.  What do you think? (besides that I’m a goofball ^_^)

And thanks to Vidgmchtr for letting me copy his name since I couldn’t think of any other good titles.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not their own facts.  But I think we can all agree that Mario rules and that''s a fact!

In case any is wondering why this is back, I'm just erasing my old posts so that no one will ever read them.  I know it's stupid but I just want to destroy this so that no one can ever read the stupid things I said without thinking.  And for those wondering, don't worry I did get my questions answered (after doing the obvious and emailing Deezer).

Mario Chat / What on Earth?!

Sorry to make another topic with a vague meaning (and one that might not last very long) but I just had to ask this.  Okay... not too long ago I was in my room and about to make my bed.  I noticed that my brother had put my 007 game case on top of the TV and I checked to make sure that he had put away SSBM back in the case (because he usually forgets :)).  I opened it and saw it there, but when I closed the case I spotted something unusual.  On the front of the box, and on Mario's right button, there is some kind of strange reflection.  It looks like some kind of face but I can't quite tell.  It almost looks like Wario!  Can anyone make this out?

Uh-oh!  It's another dumb topic from Yoshi. Rex.  This can only spell disaster!  I really hope not.  Anyway this topic is for the new members of the site to come and be able to introduce themselves to everyone, and talk about themselves and what they like and stuff (and maybe ask a few questions about the site).  This is completely optional and they can still make new topics to say hi but I just thought it would be handy to have one place where the "newbies" as some call them could talk about themselves.  If this is a bad idea then Deezer can quickly delete this like my other bad ideas, but I want to try this.  So, who's new here?

Forum Games / Interview with the little dude

Finally, I've decided to make my own little fan fiction and have a little interview with everyone's favorite mushroom guy, Toad!  I don't know if this has already been done but if it has then I'm sorry to waste your time.  But here's the thing... I want you guys to give me ideas of the kinds of questions I should ask Toad and what I should say for an answer!  Any kind of question, as long as not too evil or crude, I will accept (please keep in mind that this interview will not be very good due to my obviously bad sentences).  Here's the few ideas for questions I have so far:

What’s it like to be a mushroom person?
How does it feel to know that you coined the popular phrase “Our princess is in another castle!”?
What was your favorite game to participate in?
What was the deal with you and Peach in SSBM?!

Looky here!  It's the first ever topic for suggestions in TMK.  How cool is that! (not that cool :))  Anyway, I just wanted to let people know about my ideas for improving this site and hear what you have to say.  I haven't been here very long and I forget most of the things I read in all of the mailbags so I probably have missed some stuff like this, but I hope this is new stuff.  If any of my ideas are complete garbage or people have already said them (or both) feel free to yell at me unmercifully.  Well, here's my ideas! (for the forums)

1. After you type a message in the box and the screen pops up that says "Message Posted! Thanks!", maybe that screen could automatically disappear and return to the board instead of having to click on the link.

2. Whenever you want to go to the last page of a topic you have to click on that topic and then the last page number.  Maybe instead of that you could have a faster method by making the number of posts at the right side into a link that quickly takes you to the last page.

3. Next to the number of posts you could have the name of the person who last posted instead of remembering the number of posts before you came.

That's all I can think of now but there might be more.  If you already have your good reasons for not doing this stuff I'm sorry to have wasted your time.

Forum Games / Bogus SSBM Cheats

If anyone needs an explanation to what this topic is about then I'm going to have to kill myself.  Make up fake codes for Melee, laugh at people, and then get bored and let the topic die.  I don't know if this was already made into a topic but if it was I don't mind bringing it back.  We'll all have a jolly good time so let's begin!

Here's my fake code to start it off-> unlock the last two trophies: first get all of the other trophies in the game obviously, beat Classic, Adventure, and All-Star on Super Hard with every character, beat all of the MMM challenges with each character, beat all of BtT challenges with each character in 30 seconds or less, get over 1000 feet in the HRC, get rediculously good times in single player challenge, and complete all of the R2TF challenges with every character.  This will only give you the Samus trophy at first so you'll need to do a few more things to get the Mario and Yoshi one.  To get that one play Vs. mode at least 1,000,000,000 times, hit at least 200 names in the credits attack, take over 150 snapshots, listen to all of the sounds and music in the sound test, read everything about all the trophies you've earned (I don't know how they can tell that), and THEN put in your Mario Sunshine game, turn it on and off, put Melee back in, and there you have it!

There's something I'd really like to know about which isn't very important (and I didn't feel like asking it in the mailbag).  Are there any channels that show all video game cartoons all the time?  Or at least on Saturdays?  If not, there really should be (I miss the Super Show).

Game Help / Super Crash Bros.

I've got a big problem with one of my games, Super Smash Bros N64.  And it's all thanks to that infrenal Game Shark device.  Here's what happens: whenever I try to play 1P Adventure mode I ALWAYS have to play as Mario, no matter who I choose.  I tried some other codes to fix this but nothing helped.  And Nintendo thought I was just confused and didn't know how to choose characters!  Ugh!  Can anybody help me?  Is there a codemaster in the house?

I've got a really stupid question and I'd like someone to be able to tell me how to fix it.  Here's what happened:  I just started a new topic in one of the message boards (which I doubt will get much attention but who knows :)), and before I posted it I clicked on the box that says "Email me for every reply."  I never should have done that!  I tried several different things to change this so I could correct my mistake but the box was gone and now I'm stuck with lots of unwanted emails.  Does anyone know how I can fix this?

     Have you ever had a dream about Mario?  C'mon, admit it!  Of course you have!  If you've played at least an hour of any Mario game every day you're bound to have had at least one dream about him or a related character from the games.  Here, you brave souls who don't fear the opinions of others can tell everyone your craziest and most bizzarre, if any, dreams about the great mustachioed one.  So don't be shy and hold nothing back.  You might be surprised to find how out how weird other people can actually be!
