Forum Games / Re: A Mario Story: You Add ONE Sentence to the Tale II
« on: September 01, 2008, 05:59:01 AM »
The people of the village decided The Wizard's fiery fate was handed down by gods, angry about TMKers posting run-on sentences in the "ONE Sentence" Tale topic, sprinkling some commas, and calling it a day.

This is cool.  But what I've really always wanted is a way to detect the quality levels of JPG images.

I totally agree.  Those typing monkeys at NP should be ashamed of themselves.

Aw, I thought this was gonna be a vote-down between fan-made Mario remixes--in which case, I might have a suggestion for "worst" (even though I love the band to death otherwise).

Finally!  This is our chance to bring competitive video gaming into the mainstream... I foresee Smash Bowl replacing the you-know-what bowl within the next few years.

He's not lying:  not a single jump.  Crazy.

Anyway, I can't resist videos like this.  Your was extremely fun (and nostalgic???) to watch.  Thanks for sharing!

Where Have All the Snakers Gone?
They're still there... just really far ahead of you.

Actually, if we're gonna get into a satisfaction debate, I might be tempted to go with butt-stomping... You Northerners seem to call it a "ground pound", though...

Does anyone have any suggestions...
ONLY ONE.  Make the speedometer analog, please.

It doesn't even have to be a traditional circle-style speedometer.  It could be a vertical bar, if you're going for futuristic.  It could even have effects, like resetting back to zero and changing colors to indicate a "gear shift" (in effect, simply reaching a certain speed).

Just don't make it digital... There's a reason they did away with digital speedometers in the 80's.

I like the final stage the best because it's the longest and most difficult.  Not to mention how dramatic it feels to be climbing higher and higher...
OK, now I've gotta ask:  Does anyone else have a set routine in how they change the camera for the Bowser courses?  I always change it in the same way--a routine that evolved out of dozens of play-throughs.

Wow!  You already went somewhere?

You should do something like this... were it not for the lack of originality, having copied someone who copied a movie.

Oh!  I don't have Mario Galaxy yet!

(P.S.  That's too bad!)

Hehe, thanks.  I can't see that link because I've yet to cast my precious vote.  Now that I know it's there, I'm going with... Bob-omb Battlefield!  Reason being, if I had to whittle down Mario 64 to a single course--leaving out all others--I'd want it to be this one.  Well, that's not the reason I chose it--more like the method.  And yes, you can consider it faulty if you like, but it's the only way I could possibly deal with such an impossible question.

Thank you kindly!  I've got an itching for something new, and I'm tempted by Ouendan 2.
