YOu already got my e-mail, I believe, but I'll say it anyway: Feel free! Just be sure that I get the proper credit for the story, please don't change too much, and keep it light and fun, as any true Mario story should be.

Also, I'd really like to see it! Thanks!

"Princess Peach Toadstool" is her name.  It's perfectly fine to call her Peach, Pricess Peach, Pricess Toadstool, or just Princess.  All are acceptable!

Nah...it's fun to have the Mario stories all progress.  I mean look at the developement. You may THINK it's jsut Bowser kidnapps Peach Mario Saves Peach all the time, but look at it this way:

SMB: Bowser takes Peach in order to rule the Mushroom Kingdom, whether she marrys him or not.  Mario comes from out of no where and rescues her.

SMB3: Bowser takes her again after making Mario worn out from running all over the kingdom and fighting his kids.  Bowser kidnapped Peach in order to have her, but also to set a trap for Mario.

SMW: By now, I am convinced Bowser's kiddnapping is primarily to get at Mario, THEN to marry Peach and rule the Mushroom Kingdom.

MRPG: Again, a quick kidnapping to get at Mario, though something intervenes...

SM64: Bowser here really shows his desire to destory Mario as his primary reason for his Princess Pilfering. He seals up Peach magically inside her stain glass window even, probably only to release her once the Mushroom Kingdom is his once and for all, and the Mario Bros are dealt with.

PM: Bowser tries his best to be nice to Peach (well, except that he kidnapped her).  It's two fold: he does indeed wish to marry her, but also, if he manages to, it would REALLY get to Mario. That fails, but he still has his chance to bump the plumber off forever....and fails at that too, again.

What I'm saying is that Bowser's reasons for kidnapping her are varied and change.  First, just to rule the MK.  Now, it's almost more to just get at Mario, and ruling the Mushroom Kingdom is more a cover (though he does and always has had a thing for her, and he does desire to rule TMK...).

That's about it.

Mario Chat / Re: Where the Koopa Kids came from...
« on: December 22, 2001, 03:49:26 PM »
Ignoring the fight that is brewing, I am going to post my theory about the Koopa Kids.  I posted this during the summer, so it may look familiar:

My weird threory of the Koopa Kids realates to Yoshi'd Island. Kamek and Baby Bowser mess with the Mushroom Kingdom Stork Baby Delivery system by doing the unthinkable: kidnapping a stork and a baby and trying to get the other one! After the Yoshis help, the stork returns to its comrads and tells what happened. The other storks think of a fitting punishment...

Years later. Bowser is grown up, when he gets a knock at the door. He opens it to find that the storks have delivered SEVEN little terrors for him to raise! They're the brattiest, whiniest, meanest kids the storks could find. The storks didn't take into account that Bowser would be proud of those traits, though, and that he would raise them to help him terrorize the Mushroom Kingdom. Oops on they're part.

So thats my theory about how Bowser has kids without having a wife. The storks delivered them as a would-be punishment for his kidnapping babies all those years ago.

This is not the official theory or anything, it is just my imagination.  If you like it, go ahead and use it. If not, make up your own.

Okay, once again a fight has broken out.  Man, these boards are a real blast to visit.  I sure am glad I came back. (I hope the sarcassism came through there, cause I was laying it on pretty thick).

Ignoring the posts of people just yelling at eachother, and getting to the question above, I believe that Koopa Troopa Village is indeed a village of Koopa's who grew tired of fighting and defected to the Mushroom Kingdom. They are rebels in the sence of they are no longer loyal to the Koopa Kingdom.  Same thing with the Goomba Village, though notice how only that one family lives there.  Far less Goombas are good than Koopa Troopas.  Perhaps their village will grow in time.  And I've always thought that Bob-ombs work like Bombette, where they can explode again and again.  Sure, they didn't in games, but I liked to think they did anyway.

Next question, please, and no more fights.

RNK, I'd have to say doubtful.  It seems they are going to RE-release mario games on the GameBoy Advance, but a new Mario game seems not in sight.  I would love for them to surprise us with the long overdue "Super Mario Bros 4" though.  Wouldn't you?

Oh yeah, they'll definitly make a new Mario game with Mario.  What I hope they do is make a Mario game with Mario and Luigi as players, for two people, which it doesn't seem they're going to do.  Still, it would be good.

Now now now...This is just a flame war waiting to happen.  Please, Todd, don't ask people to do that.  Someone, or many, will be hurt and/or upset in the long run, and everything will go to pot.

And Mario Theories are meant to be fun for all.  If someone has a theory, it's theirs to have, no matter how it conflicts with your own.  I myself have many theories I base on Mario  games, but do not force anyone to agree with them.  I like to SHARE, but if someone has something different, that's fine.  So, please, no body single out people and make fun of them for their imagination.

Since Sega already did it in Sonic Adventure 2, Nintendo probably won't tackle it.  But, man, that would be cool!

Think about it: Bowser hatches some massive eveil scheme.  Play through as the Mario Bros. to try and thwart it...then play as Bowser and the Koopa Klan and try to conquer the MK.  THEN, to finish it off, Mario and Bowser must combine forces to defeat a greater evil!  Wait, that last part sounded like MRPG...oh well.  Heh heh. It would be fun, indeed.

Next question please.

Well, I think Luigi is kinda standing in at the moment, but his personality isn't really one to want to be a star. He'll be happy when Mario takes the lime light again.

Any more questions?
