No. Remember when the default Fungi Forums theme had smileys? Those are the characters used for (https://themushroomkingdom.net/board/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fthemushroomkingdom.net%2Fboard%2FSmileys%2Fdefault%2Fgrin.gif&hash=64d7887221818cc81942f781be320c46) and (https://themushroomkingdom.net/board/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fthemushroomkingdom.net%2Fboard%2FSmileys%2Fdefault%2Frolleyes.gif&hash=e6bffaf2ef4089b867c939e55486ddc5), respectively. Turtiekid1 uses a theme different from the default, so he and a few other people see them.
