Changed the thread title

If you ever swim in the fiery pits of hell that is called DeviantART, you can find images of characters, who originally have a cartoony appearance, but are drawn by a teenager who does not want to challenge themselves, and draw the character in a generic anime/manga style that takes away most of the character's original physical appearance.

That's why I'm not a fan of anime/manga-styled drawings. There's no individualism to them; they all look alike, no matter who the artist is. And if it doesn't look just like everything else in the realm of Japanese cartooning, it just looks "bad."

I agree. I just recently created an anime-like character and it kinda looks like all the others...so I'm trying my best to really make it "stand out" from the rest. Also, I've seen drawings from DeviantArt that are beautiful...and others that are just plain disturbing.

Unfortunately, Alvin-Earthworm's gallery is no where near as cool as his flash series in that regard...

There're far worse things there.  Ever seen fat, pregnant, diapered, barefoot furries being tickled?

*Shudders* I don't think I want to. But I'm sure seeing something like that is a disturbing sight to behold.

Aren't pregnant people usually fat anyway? At least in the stomach area.

*nods amiably* I agree very much with the image's message. It reminds me of a certain "DiligentDamsel," except better.

A true otaku fangirl would call 'im "kakkoii," however. Err... scratch that, a "true otaku fangirl with a fairly functional brain."

Funny! Yeah, that's about what you get when you search "anime" on DeviantArt.

Don't deny it.  If Robotnik were turned into a sonic animal, he'd be a walrus.  Bushy whiskers, huge body.

Just more proof that Dr. Eggman is Jamie from MythBusters.

And yes I will call him Eggman no matter what you say.
No! I don't want that!

It made me grin.  Nice artwork, and of course a funny concept.  How do you think of this stuff?
