I'm really having trouble figuring it out.

Considering the name, Dimentio, I've always thought he was either a boy, or something else.

I dunno... Dementio still could be a girls name. I thought (it) was a girl the first time I saw (it).

Dimentio is a boy, but just by looking, you assume he's a girl. That's what I thought, but he is really confusing.

I recall someone asking if Kraid was a boy or a girl a few years ago here and when people said he was a boy, the author of the topic argued that Kraid wasn't....anatomically correct to be male...
I'd say go with whatever pronouns the characters use. :P

From what I can gather, it's a boy. Count is male (would be Countess), and during the black text intermissions, I believe it's referred to as a Prince of some sort, with Tippi being female (she does have an affection for Mario, or is teased about it).

You don't have to spoiler text your last comment. We all know that all the female partners in Mario RPG's are in love with him :D

I think somewhere in the game they mention Dimentio as a boy.

From what I remember of his[?] text and demeanor, I believe that Dimentio is a male.

You're right, Suffix. Next time you see Dimentio, use Tippi on him and her description will tell you.

Dimentio's a shemale. I say this because I honestly wouldn't care either way. Dimentio was "fun" at the end of the game, and aside from his part in the main story (they did a great job with him in the game), that's it.

Ok never mind he's a boy. (It said "Is he a friend or foe?" in the players guide)
Edit: Accidentally said "girl" instead of "boy", so I changed it.

Dimentio. O. There's the guy in the bar-place in Flipside (or somewhere else...? spoilarz) who talks about him... "So Count Bleck has four minions, as you know. I hear one of them, Dimentio, wields powerful magic. I don't know where he comes from or who he is... But I hear he approached and befriended the count all on his own. And the count even turned him away once... Until he (this one refers to Bleck) read in the Dark Prognosticus about the role of someone similar... Why was he mentioned in the Dark Prognosticus? Sounds fishy to me! "
Case very closed. I only posted this because Player's Guides are not always the most reliable source of information for something like this. Also, Dimentio is a very cool character. His theme music, his character, his appearance, his enigmatic way of manipulating how you view the plot of the game until you beat it...
