Maybe the implication is the site's not trustworthy unless it comes from an .org or .edu domain? (I guess I can't say .com is untrustworthy because that'd take out all the news sites)
And for a second I thought you were all hating on Microsoft's cross-platform framework.

TEM, .info and .biz are the only domains which can be written off as too dubious to trust.

I only use trustworthy domains, like .museum and .jobs.

For academic purposes, I prefer the reputable .cx.
