Title: Herman Cain lol
Post by: PaperLuigi on October 14, 2011, 01:02:54 PM
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/trending-now/herman-cain-9-9-9-plan-coming-simcity-160214953.html

So...apparently, Herman Cain's economic plan bares striking resemblance to the tax system in Sim City IV. Under his plan, corporate income tax, personal income tax and national sales tax would all be set at 9%. In SimCity 4, "residents of the game's virtual city also lived under a 9-9-9 tax plan (because of the 9% commercial, industrial, and residential taxes)."

To me this would be really funny if it weren't so scary. What say you, dear residents of the forum?

I live in a state with no sales tax, so it would suck for me.

They also have no real government to speak off. It's the rules of the Badlands Jungle.

My problem is less economic policies related to videogames and more any high-ranking decision whatsoever based around sounding numerically-pleasing.

Seems a little arbitrary to pick 9.
