Title: Ever wanted to be an actor?
Post by: Sapphira on April 04, 2003, 04:26:54 PM: Okay, here's how it goes:
I'll start up the story. You get to pretend you're a Mario/Nintendo character. Choose wisely, though, 'cuz you'll be stuck with him/her.

You control the actions of only your character, just as if you were that person. You can, however, do things to other characters or try to influence them (like calling for their assistance.)

You can be up to three characters, but you can only be *ONE* Nintendo star. Characters can be from anywhere (TV shows, movies, other game systems, etc.) You can also make up your own characters. You don't have to choose all 3 now, though.

Example: You can't be Luigi, Link and Yoda, since Luigi and Link are both stars (even though Link's not in the Mario universe.)
You could be, though: Luigi, Wise Wisterwood and Yoda. You can also be clones of characters (including stars).

Okay, let's get started. I'll be Peach.

"Dang video game cross overs! It's bad enough trying to take over the Mushroom Kingdom with Mario to deal with! Now I have to face heros from other games, too? I better make an example out of this punk."

Just before impact, a multicolor distortion flew through the air, seemingly out of nowhere, and struck Bowser.

Bowser vanished and instantly rematerialized safely on the ground, next to...a magikoopa!

(Please note that this is just a generic magikoopa, not Kamek).

"Ha! The great king of the Koopas is not defeated so easily! And your fancy-pants technology, whoever YOU are, is no match for Koopa sorcery! I must go now, but I shall return. And my next attack shall be unstoppable! BWAHAHAHA!"

Both Bowser and the magikoopa vanished, leaving the stunned crowd silent. The only sound was that of the smouldering wreckage of the clown car.

Post by: Chupperson Weird on April 07, 2003, 12:28:43 AM: Mario was missing. Everyone cringed at the thought of having to play through that game, but Fox determined that Bowser and the magikoopa must have warped Mario to ...somewhere else.
"You guys stay here and I'll check the radar in my Arwing."
Fox climbed inside his Arwing and began searching for Mario. Suddenly, something happened. The Arwing had a total system failure. Fox started to panic as he plunged downward, and then suddenly, the system stabilized and he was flying again.
"Okay, now that was just weird. I wonder... what could have caused that?"

He wanted to assess the situation without being noticed. He had seen strange things in his crystal ball lately, and the events he witnessed here were even stranger.

"Hmm..." the magikoopa thought to himself. "Heros from other video games...Unexplained system failures on a mechanically flawless arwing...and Mario...vanishing?? What does it all mean?"

With heightened cautiousness she began to head back to her castle. She had to find some answers.

However, seeing as there only appear to be three people who regularly visit this topic, and seeing that someone has foolishly taken control of Mario (THE star) and then abandoned this topic, I request that the rules be changed, to be more lenient on the # of Nintendo stars people can control. Specifically, I request that the afformentioned generic magikoopa be changed to Kamek, the only magikoopa of any importance.

That's all. I do not have anything to add to the story at this time.**

Post by: Sapphira on April 09, 2003, 09:57:55 AM: **Okay, rules change. (I was thinking about it anyway.) You can now be TWO stars, and other characters (including other stars) can be involved in your scene. Otherwise no progress would be made in the story.

When I mean two stars, that means the focus of your post is on them (preferably just one of them), as if they were the main characters in a novel. Only the characters you control can give their thoughts/feelings outside of dialogue.

Again the princess paused. Cautiously she looked around the entryway.
"Hello...?"
Suddenly a shrill, deafening cry echoed throughout the hallway. Peach quickly spun around, horrified...

Thats all who I am right now.) was sitting on the sofa in Mario's Pad awating his arrival, but since Mario had not come home for lunch Luigi began to worry. He decided to grab his trusty Poltergiest 3000 just in case Boos were the cause...

-----Meanwhile-----
Johnny Knoxville sets himself in a shopping cart and has Bam Margera push him into a rosebush...and as Johnny K. flys into the bush, Mario appears right in front of him and is clobbered by Knoxville and the shopping cart.. The plot thickens!!

Let's not let this story fall into the sillyness that has infected the other topics. It's okay if the story is silly, but please make sure that it makes at least some sense and does not contradict itself.

Anyway, back at Bowser's Keep, Fox and Bowser were BOTH starring confusedly at...Kenny, from South Park, who had somehow gotten into the Mushroom Kingdom and had walked into Bowser's Keep to ask for help to get back to Colorodo.

Kenny mumbled something completely incoherent, which translated to mean:

"Who the <censored> are you guys? A fox and a...thing? HEY! You're video game characters! Cool!"

Just then, one of the eerie chandaleres that decorate Bowser's residense broke from the ceiling and fell straight toward Kenny. He screamed and dove out the way, but accidently rolled of an edge and into one of the pointless pits of lava that Bowser is also so found of. He burst into a greasy ball of fire and died.

Post by: Bluto on April 11, 2003, 11:44:00 PM: Suddenly a crash was heard from upstairs in Peach's castle. Moments later a almost rythmic thudding signaled the arival of Wario( thats me! I'm also a cranky goomba named Chester, and Ed from Ed,Edd,n'Eddy) who had been plundering Peach's upstairs vault and was now falling head over heel down the stairs, spouting gold coins and precious gems from every pocket. He landed flat on his face at the bottom cursing about his luck. Noticing Peach, he ran out the door still droping coins. On his way out, he tripped over a dinner plate that had the remains of a pie on it.

I'm as cute as a banana and twice as yellow!

Meanwhile, Falco was explaining to Peach that he had picked up strange energy readings emanating from somewhere deep below the castle. Peach was quite surprised by this.
Mario was dazed and confused by the impact from Johnny Knoxville and his rose bush, and decided to go somewhere else and find some food. He was hungry.
Slippy was still doing life scans for Mario...

Slippy contacted him via the wrist communicator. "Hi, Fox! I think I've located Mario... do you like Italian food?" Fox was confused by this. "Slippy, what's 'Italian' food?" Slippy was taken aback. "Oh, um... well...--" The connection cut off at this point.

Mario was thoroughly enjoying his bowl of neverending pasta when suddenly...

Then he remembered the pie he had baked and had set on the window sill to cool. He dashed home and found to his dismay that his pie had indeed been stolen. "Somebody gonna pay for stealing my pie!" he yelled stomping back towards the castle. Just then he heard an elderly goomba named Chester call out, " I know who stole your pie young fella!" "WHO DID IT!" bellowed Wario."Aww, you whipper snappers want everything handed to you on a silver platter! Why in my day, I had to track down pie stealing bandits by myself!" Angered by the goomba cranky response, Wario sat on him.

"AH! Don't startle me like that!" Bowser huffed angrily.

"Sorry, your highness. But I have urgent news to report! I've done some investigating, and it turns out that non-Mushroom Kingdom characters of all sorts are somehow flooding into our world!"

"I've noticed. So, what's the problem?"

"Well, among them are numerous heros, like the fox pilote you encountered earlier. These heros might pose a threat to your future plans for world domination."

"I can take them. I already scared off that c-o-c-k-y canine with my lava pits."

"Even so, sir, I would recommend we postpone our next campaign. We've already been stopped once."

"BAH! We've be planning this thing for months! We can't postpone it now! So, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the Princess's castle."

With that, Bowser hopped into the c-o-c-k-pit of the Clown Car and flew off.

----Meanwhile----

Waluigi had come home, and saw that there was a corndog on the floor. He pondered on wether or not he should eat it. But he realized that it was the only food he had so he ate it.

----Meanwhile(2)----

Dr. Mario had successfully faught off the viruses that he couldn't fight off much longer. Exhausted, he sat back and enjoyed an ice cold Miller Light. Three hours (and 15 beers) later, he was staggering around the lab and shouting at viruses, "You don't know me!"

What is wrong with this guy?

Luigi kicks Kirby and then chews on him because he looks like bubble gum.

Luigi stared at the castle.
"If it blows down, then I'll go inside and do my special 'Getting Jiggy With It' dance," he said, taking a bite of a big, juicy, plump, incredible watermelon.

Anyhoo, Waluigi had just eaten an entire personal pan pizza. He felt very full and decided to walk to Peach's castle to burn of the calories. However, when he arrived he was shot down byan Arwing.

What is wrong with this guy?

He pulls out a picture of the blue fox girl Krystal and the Arwing crashes on the ground.
"Fox likes swimsuit models"chuckled Luigi. Then, he walked over to Waluigi, gave him a life-saving Cresent Moon and Waluigi was up on his feet.

(In case you didn't know, in the next Star Fox game, Krystal's a member of the team.)

"Hey, bro, let's get rid of Bowser-yeah? Give me a Megavitamin so we can become the unbeatable METAL MADIO BROTHERS! And don't give me a poisonus pill like last time!"

Post by: jon on June 06, 2003, 07:46:50 PM: Then Luigi realized that what Chupperson Weird meant by fake Luigi was a fake Luigi, not Waluigi, who jon did control, and then left the scene.

Waluigi was the one hiding behind the tree.

Luigi called Super Saiyan Goku to keep away from the Lylat System and Goku did that. Goku also taught Luigi the Kamehameha Wave, Spirit Bomb, Destructo Disk, and how to turn Super Saiyan. He taught him all those just incase Fox tried to bother Luigi again.

Luigi then went over to Bowser, who WAS going to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom, but now isn't because Luigi turned Super Saiyan and turned Bowser into dust.

Then, he went back to the picnic blanket, talking to Peach and continuing to eat a watermelon that wasnot poisonus(don't get any weird ideas, anyone).

He then teamed up with various other villians of TMK and secretly revived Bowser. Then they tried their plan again...this time with 10 Trillion troops. They were everywhere...There were so many that the Mario bros wondered if they could ever beat them......

Goku came back Super Saiyan. Luigi powered up to Super Saiyan and the both of them charged up a Spirit Bomb. The attack was charging fast because 2 people were doing it. They brought down the Spirit Bomb and Bowser and the troops died again.
Luigi and Goku did a high-five and Goku left while Luigi ate his watermelon.

Mark told him about musical theater camp at Saint Francis High, and how he played Rooster from "Annie" and sang songs from Dam Yankees, Grease, A Chorus Line, and other musicals. Then he added how one of the counselors said to Mark'sister that he was mean to him, even though he wasn't, and his sister made fun of him without any hypocritical awareness.
Then Mario got sick of listening and showed Mark a fireball and Mark shut up about his problems and continued to help others through their hard times with a joke every few minutes, but behind his mask of humor and joy there was a boy who lived in the past and regretted how childhood had happened so sadly. But Mark would think about it when he had his chances and realized that instead of pretending that comments didn't bother him, it was better to let people know you were bothered and to please shut up instead of hiding feelings so he followed this rule and the joy that used to hide his feelings became his feelings and everyone was happier. And Mario went back to New York.
