Video Game Chat / Online Wii Stuff
« on: December 11, 2006, 07:54:44 PM »
There is relatively no force on this earth that will keep me from getting to a Wii at some point or another, and I am definatley going to be picking one up asap, but...

How does everyone think the whole online system is going to work out? The dreaded friends-code system is back, and It frustrates me to see an online system that is so isolated. Does anyone think that Nintendo might eventually work out something like X-box Live?

Is it just me or is the one in the magazine a higher resolution than the one on the gamepage?
It doesnt look blurry as if someone had resized it 2-3x

To me, cheat codes seem fun when they let you do things you normally cant do...
wait that doesnt make any sense.
Like, they are good when they let you got to areas not in the game, but things like unlimited health just ruin the whole point of the game.

1 nunchuck - 19.99
1 classic controller - 19.99

Jeez, when you put it all together like that, everything seems so expensive... but in retrospect, with that much money i could have nothing but a bare-bones PS3, or a 360 with a wireless adapter...

Mario Chat / Re: Super Mario RPG GBA/DS Remake?
« on: September 24, 2006, 12:05:55 PM »
SNES DS is an emulator you can use to "play" SNES roms on your DS. Before you start trying to find it, you need to realize that you need special hardware to run the program. Setups that would get you running this range from $50 to over $100 US dollars. And considering that SNES DS doesnt even work well with Super Mario World, i doubt it will ever be able to run games like SMRPG which make use of the SFX chip.

The saving anywhere feature was added, i think, more for the portable experience becuse it would be convienient. Its a pain when you lose progress because you reached your destination.

YKYVTFFTMW:
-If you actually have read this far
-If you actually care about people's spelling when submitting to the YKYVTFFTMW
-If when you run away, instead of putting your picture on milk cartons your parents get your picture on Super Mario System cereal boxes

Woah, Mario Trilogy developed by Nintendo... I thought SMB2 was made by some no-name company. Well doki-doki panic.
