Forum Games / Re: The would you rather game!
« on: May 08, 2006, 03:09:20 PM »
I think it would cost more than a billion dollars in order to own an entire planet.  If that was the case I would either be drowning in debt or earning income from my planet.  Unless I had to pay for the problems too such as alien attacks, in that case I wouldn't like it.  Not to mention all of the blame I would get for things and the extraterrestrial terrorists that want to kill me because secretly I'm trying to conquer the universe and it's up to one heroic man, J. Spaceman, to defeat me and rescue princess Starry in order return peace to the universe!  Coming in 2030!

So to answer the question... I would take the billion.

You may not believe this, SushieBoy, but I've actually seen a book with this exact topic.  "Would You Rather..." It's just like this except the questions are much better (no offense to anyone) and are meant to make people start talking about interesting thing.  I think this topic would be even better if we asked questions like that and had more to talk about.  That's just my suggestion and you don't have to do it.

Would you rather... have a big nose or a big butt? (an actual question from the book)

Latest News / Re: Nintendo Revolution renamed
« on: May 08, 2006, 01:41:18 PM »
Yoshisaurus I'm sorry if this sounds rude but those names are just terrible. They are less creative than the name Xbox 360. Except for the N-finite and N-credible.

Would "Bomb" imply that the system is terrible? Because that's what I'm getting at.

Most of them were supposed to be terrible. You just got punk'd! XD Oh hey... Nintendo XD?  Yeah, that's even better than the N-Bomb!

Okay, I'm getting used to wii now.  I don't know how but I just am.  I think it would be funny if everyone someone got used to the name and then Nintendo says, "Hey it all really was just a joke! Ha ha!" And the next day the headlines read: E3 06 has biggest riot ever.

Edit: The Nintendo Ewe.  Because it's all about you.

Trainman: So that's what someone was talking about in the HOPEFUL thread.  Man... I'm so sorry, Trainman.  I can't even imagine what that would feel like.  Just recently a family from our church found out that a relative had hung himself and just hearing about that made me very sad.  I'll be praying for you too.  I wish that I could teleport myself to you guys and be with you for more encouragement. (But maybe people wouldn't want to have strangers zapping into their living rooms from their computers at random times)  So, yeah.  I can't say it better than Khold.

I haven't been to this topic for awhile, but... it seems like we're on the topic of sad things now, right?  I don't know if I'll read everything (wish I could) but I want everyone to know that you have my real sympathy.

By the way... remember when I said a long time ago that when I came back I would have a huge surprise to give here?  Well, when I first came back again I didn't have that surprise ready.  But now... I DO!! X)  My surprise to everyone is in the Story Boards and I'm sure you'll be able to spot it pretty easily.  Hope you enjoy my mega big story, "Legend of the Yoshisaurus"! (and aren't disappointed by it)  I should probably get back to work on that now too because I may have a long way to go.

Edit: And hello to you new people! *hands out more TMK souveniers that don't really exist*

Oh, ha ha!  Wicked.

MSM: I don't think that pt_peach was saying anything racist, so I wouldn't assume that.

smfan1085: I encourage people to go off topic in my threads.  It's more fun that way sometimes.

That is some weeird stuff!  With all this new evidence swirling around me, I might have to go with the flow and drop my topic name before some peeople start to stand up in protest and can't hold in their anger.

Koopaslaya: Well... I have heard the theory of a waiting place before entering heaven, so maybe that's kind of like that.  I'm sorry, I guess that I struggle to accept new ideas sometimes.  I just don't know much about it and it seems like a contradiction to some things in the Bible.  I'm not sure if I believe it, but I'll try to find out more.  However, I do think that at least some of the verses were misinterpreted.

New options up!

Wii. XD  But testing for what?

Hey, speaking of the national day of prayer... does anyone have any prayer requests for anything?  Maybe this is the wrong place to ask this but if it is, then you could talk to me by PM if you want.

General Chat / A poll for men only?
« on: May 04, 2006, 03:15:32 PM »
First there was the toilet paper roll poll... and now this!  Don't ask what ever possessed me to make this poll (LD made me do it!), but I find this both interesting and funny.  Most of the time when I go to a public restroom, I'm way too chicken to use the urinal if others are around and if the things out in the open, so I usually wait to use the toilet.  How do you other guys feel about this?  Does anyone else ever feel like I do?  Who thinks that we need more privacy or something?

If this topic is inappropriate, I'm sorry.  I'm not trying to be sick, just considering the part of fear or embarrasment in the mind. *flush*

Happy birthday, MSM! (It's funny that I always read that as MSN the first time)  What's the picture on your shirt btw?  I can make out Earth and the cross but not the two guys in white.  Oh well.

G-Dawg: Sweet.  I need to get some friends on TMK but I'm probably the biggest Mario fan that I know.

I just got back from Chicago and saw the most awesome musical ever:  Wicked!  It was absolutely amazing, and quite funny in a lot of parts too.  I would recommend anyone and everyone to go see it.

Yeah!  I'm going to go see the musical! *drives to Chicago and doesn't know where the dukar to go next* Ugh!  I knew I should have asked what the name of the musical was first!

Jman: What kind of books are you going to write?

Anyway... I'm happy that today is the National Day of Prayer, that I'm almost done with my agonizing college work and that spring is here and winter is dead!!  I'm also real excited about the surprise I might give here tomorrow. ;)

Smfan1085: Lazy?  Nah.  This works better so people can read it for themselves.  Looks like wikipedia is the new eBay for information! (and a resource I wasn't allowed to use in my writing class)

Speaking of the Gnostic Gospels, has anyone read The Davinci Code yet or know anything about it? (I know a little but I think that I should give you all a chance to talk and be quiet for awhile).  I didn't mean to change the subject, but that just came to mind.  Concerning purgatory, I think that the Bible verses in wikipedia were misinterpreted and the authors were really talking about "heck" or examples of punishment or salvation in life (that's just my opinion though).  Maybe I might read the rest of that page soon so I don't get left behind.

I wish people wouldn't use indulgence selling to get money.  If you talk about it a little, I don't mind (because I do believe in God's blessings to generous and unselfish people) but not as a form of getting money.  It should always be about helping others with no expectation of anything in return (which is hard to do for me).  However, maybe some people may do that unintentionally or just too often, but it's not always easy to tell.

Maybe I should change my question to "Which of the following do you believe has, does, or will exist/is true?" so I can add more options.  Such as... the book of Deezer.

Critics are saying, "Marvelous!"  "Tear-jerking!"  "Sapph-tastic!"  "Two thumbs and ten toes up!"  "The greatest and longest cliff hanger I've ever seen!" XD But half of a good story is better than a whole terrible story.  Someone let me know when she finishes this.
