They decided to change a few things. They took out the brick touching the top of the pipe followed by removing the top left part of the pipe's entrance, which made Mario mad.
This bridge - extends from Nebraska to CANADA!

So anyway, Mario went on a rampage. He killed anybody in his way with a sword and gun (gun not pictured). He even killed his brother, Luigi. Going around with the name The Mushroom Assasinator (Assasin in picture) he was going all this way to join forces with Bowser.
