It's not going up in flames though. It's doing just fine, but I think this should be a place for intellectual discussion rather than general silliness (because general silliness can be found just about anywhere nowadays). There's nothing wrong with general silliness at times, but sometimes there needs to be a line. Without a little bit of control, there can't be a line.

We need a Barack Obama figure to restore hope.
Well, my last name's White and I have ancestors with the last name Black... oh, you meant sociopolitically speaking?

Yeah, I still like this place despite how little most people here like or agree with me... I can't explain it. But as for mods, well, I don't know how qualified I am to vote, but CE7 does seem to have "it".

* CrossEyed7 is flattered.

Incidentally, I counted up the ADVANCED votes, and there are a lot of ties.

Trust me, you won't find quality posts and/or posters on a giant forum. Most members on boards like that are immature, prepubescent teenage boys who don't know how to post without cussing every other word.
While I'm still lurking here, I'm going to point out that this is not the only good forum on the entire internet, and that it is full of prepubescent teenage boys, just like the rest of 'em.

Also, some of you guys, though maybe well wished, are really, really sad.

EDIT:I don't mean emotionally

Hey, no need to get your panties in a tightwad, sis. We can't be happy all the time.

Well, yeah, you're never going to find a forum full of saints. However, at least certain places (like not GoNintendo) don't have members that call anybody who disagrees with them a garbage bag.

Just for a week while I go on vacation, I swear!  I'lll be on a Caribbean cruise until next weekend, so see you later, you poor, snowed-in saps, you.

Who denied either of those things?

Who and why?

Also, interesting edit up there, Suffix.

Is it wrong not to always be glad?
No, it's not wrong--but I must add

You're a girl and I'm a boy
Take my hand and off we stride
I'm a girl and you're a boy

Unfortunately, I'm suffering some serious connection issues right now, so I'm forced to take an unexpected vacation from the digital world, the internet. It was a fun ride...but don't worry, I'll be back...I think. I'm not sure when. I have a pretty bad connection right now and as I type this, it's hanging on by a thread...so...until then...later, all. :(

I'm not leaving. I realize now that I was just overreacted to a really stupid post by luigalaxy, and that it's pretty much just him that I don't like about this place. Sorry for being such a b**** these last few weeks.

EDIT: Yeah no offense
