Hm, I'm fairly certain they knew PM:TTYD was a hit in all departments, including story, so surely they didn't think it would hurt them to emulate it a little bit?

I mean, I like what they did with Sticker Star, but they don't need to repeat the "new formula." I thought Sticker Star was odd in comparison, but I thought that was just the quirk of the title; is it supposed to be a sign of things to come?

Action Replay? I've been able to get a White Yoshi from using the cheat codes before... but to my knowledge, there isn't another way.

Hm, after some thought, I've decided I might sell mine. I want to fix it up a little (it's gotten beat up a bit over the years) before I part with it. Also, I'm definitely gonna hold onto it until I get all the data I need loaded into the Wii U. Either way, my GameCube should handle any incompatibility issues I have in the Wii's absence.

Speaking of the Wii U, I literally picked up the last copy they had from my local Fry's; they said I was lucky to come in so early, because for some reason they didn't have me pay for it all up front (which is standard procedure there) yesterday, when I asked to pre-order. Otherwise, they probably would've just sold it. In got the $449 package with the addition of a Wii Motion+/Nunchuk and NSMBU.

It depends, if you can get a "Perfect Bonus" (one hit finishes the battle), you can get a bunch of coins and one or two stickers. At least, that happens when I fight stuff in 4-1. Otherwise, you're only in it for the coins, which are still nice.

Well, it definitely felt disjointed from a regular RPG right off the bat. I think that they're trying to find ways to make Paper Mario more unique, instead of using the traditional Paper Mario ground. Or maybe make it more accessible to casuals?

It's pretty hard to compare it to the other titles when it's so different, but it's a very good game either way. While I'd like the Paper Mario series to return to its roots, I still love Sticker Star.

Kersti definitely isn't as helpful as she could be. "We need to do this, but I don't know how!" only takes you so far sometimes. Just passed through the World 2 finale; I laughed when I saw the boss stage.

World 4 is a crazy jump in difficulty, if you ask me. The Cheep Cheep boss at the docks is fairly easy with the right (and of course, fairly obvious) tool.

They used music from Super Mario Land 2... I love this game. Still, I'm stuck in world 2.

I can't get on the Yoshi sphinx's tongue. I'm desperately trying to figure everything out on my own. It's been... okay. It's really not as tricky as some reviews have apparently made it out to be.

I'll definitely have to start doing the notepad thing; it's a very common suggestion. Lucid dreaming is another interesting topic to me, because it's a very strange experience I've only encountered once or twice. I don't think I did or saw anything substantial in those instances, but your perception in lucid dreams is crazy. Actually, I take the "substantial" comment back; once I was able to switch at will the "world" of the dream I was in. The other just consisted of me sleeping, but I was still totally there!

When I saw the above attached image, I originally thought it was an abnormal-looking spoiler tag, but then I realized it was just a black space with a dot.

Also, it looks like a star in the sky, which made me ponder the vastness of space, and a period (as it also looks like) also represents a space on paper, which insinuates similar infinite possibilities that are presented by writers.

Then I typed this. I enjoyed the journey through my own wonderment; thank you for the art, Luigison.
