The long nightmare is over. Version 4.0.0 U finally lets you use HDMI video with a different sound cord.

I don't know why, but being able to view the Wii on the GamePad has revitalized my interest in Wii games.

then presumably I will do something with the Wii.

(I'm keeping my Wii around. All my save files are on it, and I don't feel like moving them. Plus, Brawl without Gamecube controllers just wouldn't be the same.)
