for mario bros for nes, say I was on world 4-2 or something, when I loose all my lives,I have to start from the very beginning of the game (world 1-1, it doesnt let me continue, whereas other mario games like super mario for snes let me continue when I loose all my lives I just start again on the world I was on,is this problem me just being stupid and not knowing that this happens with every mario bros game for nes or does my copy need replacement battry?

i think you need to like hold a and press start, and you can start at the beginning of the world you were on.

Where and how did you die in 4-2? The only *difficult* place I can think of is at the start, with those nasty jumps, but I have seen people with other problems (chasing Mushrooms off of ledges, etc XD). If you ever have problems in a level, I can help with many of them up to 7-4. In fact, as soon as I find a way to film NES movies into AVIs (hate emulator movies, you always need the exact rom, gah), I will begin filming them to show off XD

my toughest world(SMB I) was 5-4.I never could get past the 5th Bowser.

Strange, because my hardest level was like 6-4. I don't know why, I just died there a lot. A lot more than in 8-2 XD

The level I died on most was 1-1. The first goomba always got me. Ha ha. Just kidding. I guess 8-2 was my hardest level. That Lakitu was a pain.
