Seth MacFarlane.. He created Family Guy, right?

This was extremely funny. I hope he does more of them.

*yawn*

It's the same tired formula from Family Guy. To think I've seen better on the internet. The internet.

Sometimes I think Seth knows this is trite, but doesn't care because morons eat it up anyway.

LOL SO RANDOM!! XDXDXDXDXD

DX

Case in point

It should be common knowledge not to ask for a kiss upon the first rescue. Though from the fourth one and on (assuming that SMW is the fourth one), it's more plausible. But seriously. The first one? Forget about it!

Yep, it follows exactly as I pointed out before–
Or another in which (pop-culture) characters are doing their normal routine, stop and start bickering and complaining about their lifestyles.

Well, it was mostly talking, so I was quite bored throughout the video. I prefer the more rapid-fire style of robot chicken. Also, what does this have to do with burger king? The only connection I can make is Mario's weight...

I can't tell, but Peach lovers won't like the ending.

Saw this last night. I liked it, but I guess mainly because it pokes fun at how absurd the Mario storyline is if applied to reality. "You got kidnapped by something that goes on a salad."

Also, I'm used to the Family Guy skit where two people argue and overlap eachother. At first that sort of thing struck me as "this sounds like a believable bit of conversation", since you can't hear much of it, it just turns into heated bickering. The example I usually point to is when Nate Griffin becomes one of the tellers at the DMV, resulting in bickering of waiting in lines for hours (seriously, what's up with that, only one or two lines out of 50 are actually used) and not being able to call the DMV in advance. Now I just try to hear enough of the conversation so I find something to laugh at.

Also, I was distracted by this being done in the unmistakeable Family Guy look and Mario sounding an awful lot like Stewie,

As for Robot Chicken... well, I hate it now, but in the past I did like the random acts of sudden violence. But here, the violence did nothing to me.
One of my favorite Robot Chicken skits was the sendup on Dragon's Lair. One scene has Dirk stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, and every few seconds the player pushes right on the joystick to move Dirk's car forward an inch.

"You got kidnapped by something that goes on a salad."

I'm guessing that their refering to goombas?  A goombas not a mushroom.  But that was a really funny video.  I love how Family Guy cartoons make really fake scenarios that you see alot in movies and stuff and show what would really happen.

You guys do know Seth has his own channel. (http://www.youtube.com/user/SethComedy) and his high quality version can be found here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGE34VAqYTk)

Anyway, I liked it. It's Family Guy humor. If you find Family Guy funny, you'll find this funny. I'm kinda starting to think that his "Cavalcade" is just a way to get his random jokes out before the new season. I mean (Super Mario rescues the Princess) could be used anywhere.
Example: Peter : "You know a lot of people have had their short comings." (Insert Super Mario rescues the Princess.)
Then again, a LOOOOOT of things can be used in Family Guy jokes.

When did the definition of 'Random' change? Did I sleep through that class?

What you think random means
Weird, unpredictable, or bizarre. Usually you mean to say stupid when you say random. Example "Yeah I'm just so random all the time! lol lol i like pie"

What random actually means
An event completely unaffected by anything. Without looking at the deck, please take a card at random. We're going to let the game use its algorithms and equations and stuff to select a stage at pseudo-random.

I really don't know if a random occurrence could exist. Scientifically, everything is affected by something somewhere along the lines. Spiritually, everything happens for a reason. Say I jabbed at my keyboard without looking and hit G. Well, why did I hit G? Was it random? Not really, the position and movements of my hand determined that I'd hit G.

That's all.

Wow. I've been schooled. But Famliy Guy jokes (Most of the time) don't affect anything. Call them anything. Stupid jokes, retarded jokes, random jokes, anything! Also, by your logic, why do we still use the term "random"?

No no, I didn't mean you. I meant, as if speaking to a crowd of people who misuse the word. Sorry 'bout that.

By my logic, no, I wouldn't call anything random. I limit my misuse of the word to "Let's play on a random stage" or "The randomly spawning enemies in EarthBound Zero are impossible to avoid, unlike the enemies visible on the overworld in the second and third games." The game's programming does something to simulate randomization, but it isn't really and I don't understand it. Things like that and flipping coins or rolling dice. Not "My cat barked! How random!" Or "I backed into the convertible behind me! How random!" Or "The police arrested a man! How random!"

But what if that man were arrested for beating people with sausage (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/09/08/BA2V12PQPT.DTL)?

Wow, that's basically what I always thought! I tend to subscribe to that line of thinking and the Chaos Theory myself (though I really prefer to call it the Law of Chaos).

Meh. The animation was iffy (Even to FG standards) And really Robot Chicken did the same thing with Link and Zelda about a year ago.

I find the Family Guy animation style kind of boring now. I much prefer the abstract colours and flappy mouths of the old simpsons cartoons, and a mix of the high detail shots of shows like Ren and Stimpy.
I also prefer the bad but suprisingly pleasing style of South Park.
But hey, everyone has their own styles...

Actually I think that South Park's animations is times better than FG's.
