Title: Super Mario RPG Rated for Australian Virtual Console
Post by: Deezer on June 13, 2008, 10:17:31 AM
The Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) site posted (http://www.classification.gov.au/special.html?n=46&p=156&sTitle=super+mario&sMediaGames=1&sDateFromM=6&sDateFromY=1970&sDateToM=6&sDateToY=2008&record=228221) a "G" rating for Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/smrpg-vc) today, just one week after it revealed a new title for Wario Land Shake (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/wls). Thanks to the Virtual Console, it appears that Australia will get Super Mario RPG for the first time, but no official release date has been announced. Because Australian and European VC titles usually release on the same day, does this mean Super Mario RPG's first ever European release is coming as well?

GREAT news! After 12 years of delay, I still hope so much that Europe will finally get the game some day. It seems that this wish comes true! I really want to play the father of all Mario RPGs.

It was rated by the ESRB sometime last year. Don't hold your breath.

It was rated in 2006 and then pulled. With it now being released in all other regions it must emerge.

Isn't this the same reason people think MegaRockMan 9 is coming out?

Just because a game is released in one region doesn't mean it will be in others.  *coughcoughFinalMixcoughcough*

I pay with checks and cash.  Once you tell me a reliable way to pay with one of those over the Internet, I might be interested.  Otherwise, I might as well use my dad's credit card, and I don't want to do that to him.

I have it, but I currently can't use the SNES due to the multitude of wedding gifts that are in our guest bedroom.

I'm pretty sure we had a guest in there once, sometime during the wedding..

I finally made my decision.  At first, I wanted a tablet for my birthday, but now, I want my sister to help me use eBay so I can get a SNES.

Well, the way you responded to that question made it sound like you payed for things over the internet without using a credit card.
