I have just started a website of my own but I'm curious as to how I should promote it. Because I've been visiting TMK since its earliest days I'm interested as to what happened that made your site explode into the biggest one on the 'net.

My site is still really new and needs a lot of work, but what advice do you have?

There is a place on the links page here at TMK where you can submit your website as a link.  I put my site in last August but Deezer still hasn't added it.  I don't know if he just never updates the links or my site is just that lousy.  : )

Heh, I submitted my original Mario site a while back, but I've taken it down since. It never made it onto the links page ^_^;;

Some advice:

1. Update often.
2. Try to have unique and exclusive content.
3. The design doesn't really matter, as long as one can navigate the site easily.
4. Asking other people for a link wouldn't hurt. But then again, I never do this. Well, maybe once... *cough*NList*cough* ;)
