Title: Sprite Identification

So, long story short, on a nostalgia kick, I decided to rewatch some Newgrounds videos I enjoyed back in middle/high school. Anyway, I came across this trippy music video (http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/81358).
I recognized almost all the sprites, but I have no idea where the heck these are from (http://gyazo.com/a4054b02b9e7764de9dffbdf391c048b.png). Which is a shame, since they're incredibly well-drawn. And on a related note, any idea where this infamous gif (http://i.imgur.com/3BbFd.gif) is from?

The Mario ones (and probably Wario also) are from Mario's Super Picross (http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/msp).
