Anyway, I don't really air drum, I use my hands to drum various things, like my desk or lap.

The guy they picked as #1 air guitarist sucked, at least during his We Will Rock You air guitar solo. He just made vague, spastic movements with his hands. I don't even play real guitar (I even air guitar left-handed, even though I'm a righty) and I was better than that guy.

I never do anything special when air guitaring. Being an actual guitarist and an air guitarist are two different things, so when I do air guitar, I just feel the music and concentrate on the music. In other words, I make imaginary chords/notes that's supposed to resemble the music being played, without swinging my head back and forth or playing the guitar behind my head.

I am consistently air drumming to songs, though.
