It's too bad that this thread is constantly lost to time as the old advertisements get taken down or people just happen to block ads automatically. 95% of these ads I can't see.

Well, then allow me to show you this fairly unnerving ad I saved to my Photobucket account, since it was Flash-based...

Yes. It's very similar to Superman's situation.

The more I look at that last ad I posted, the more "Bill Gates" looks like Dick van Dyke.

Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

That reminds me of a Far Side comic that I'm too lazy to find and reference

Man, I could swear that was on TMK but I couldn't find it.

Now that I think about it, the system he's playing on looks almost exactly like a Nintendo Wii on its side, except with the Power and A/V cords going into the gamecube controller slots.

That says something about how much it looks like a featureless box. But yeah, I don't get what the thing on the side is supposed to be (looks like the Wii CD slot). Maybe that's where the Nintendo logo goes.

And they also have the kid sitting a few inches from the TV. +1 for realism.

But I thought Gary Larson put a ban on seeing Far Side comics online. *looks on Google Images* Okay, must be something else I'm thinking of, because there's a ton. Peanuts? No... well, ever since The Complete Far Side was released, I guess anybody could go out and scan up a storm of them.

*looks online more* Oh, a topic where someone asks what the joke of a certain Far Side comic is. That's always good.

For my money though, "The Prehistory of the Far Side" is still the best Far Side book I've ever owned, because you get commentary from the author on certain comics, as well as see comics that were rejected (I like the one where there's a corpse sitting at a piano and the lady says "Shh, he's decomposing") and the author's favorites.
