Chocolate is poison to cats. Jon is trying to kill Garfield.
That was a joke.

No, chocolate is poison to dogs.

Chocolate isn't as lethal to cats. Dairy items aren't recommended for consumption by cats (including milk).

I know this because our cats have tasted some chocolate in the past and turned out fine.

According to sources that aren't you, it's equally bad for dogs and cats. Poison doesn't mean it will kill you immediately. One of our dogs ate chocolate once but ended up okay due to being large and eating burnt toast.
That was a joke.

Chup is right. The reason cats usually aren't mentioned when talking about chocolate is that they usually won't eat it when offered (or when they just find some), as opposed to dogs.

This clearly calls for some experiments.

If I weren't seperated from my homestead kat supply, I would be doing some kat feeding and videotaping the results for you guys.

Do we have any other volunteers?

If you feed a bunny some chocolate, it will turn into chocolate. Just in time for Easter!
What's your problem, Cambodian?

That one really lives up to the topic title.
