Title: Help for Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass...
Post by: megamush on December 08, 2007, 04:15:56 PM
How do you solve the riddle on "Uncharted Island"? It is in the NorthWestern Sea.

P.S. The riddle is "It steers with rudder, then makes spray! And third, it paddles, then sees a way!"

Can't you figger it out on you're own?! It's not that hard to figger out. Just draw a line for all the boarder of the island. You have to draw it anyways to have it work out right.

HINT: the island is shaped like a whale blowing water out the top of it.

I have 2 more questions...

1. On Mercay Island, The Stone Tablet that says "A cliffside not so far from here has a hidden weak spot... Shine a beam parallel with a line between the temple and Mercay Tavern", I have hit the eye with an arrow and made the stone that has a blue beam coming out of its head, now what do I do?

2. On Zauz's Island, The Stone Tablet says "Find the stone tiless on the east and west of this island. Connect the eastern stones with a line. Do the same with the western stones. Dig where the extensions of these two lines intersect." I did what it said, but the lines don't intersect. Where am I supposed to dig?

P.S. Don't tell me what happens after you finish the puzzle, just tell me how to finish these puzzles.

P.S. 2.0 Thank all of you that have helped me.

*facepalm*

ahhh... I'm gonna walk you through how to draw on the map. Press either up on the D-pad or the 'X' button to bring down the map to the touch screen. Now, take the stylus, the long piece of plastic you've been cleaning your ears with, and press on the touch screen.

On with question one. DRAW a LINE between the TEMPLE and the TAVERN. Now, if you cannot reach the statue don't bother repositioning it, but it doesn't matter. approximate the angle, and walk from the STATUE. you should reach a FLAT WALL, BOMB it.

Number two. EXTEND said LINES 'til they INTERSECT, DIG THERE.

Can you do me a favor? Go on to Microsoft Paint (If you have it) and draw the map on your computer, and put a DOT where you're supposed to dig.

On the Temple of the Ocean King, the 3rd time you have to go to it (the second time after you get the Phantom Hourglass), On floor B6.

What is the shape of the Sacred Crest?

Now I have another ?, what do you do after the red door opens.

In the room with the sun simbol on it. When the South Western Sea Chart shows up with the green & black simbol on it, what are you supposed to do?

Man, I thought that was the most dumbed-down Zelda ever, but I guess it's still not enough for some... is this your first Zelda game, megamush?

No, its actually only my 2nd Zelda game. My first one was Ocarina of Time. But anyway, I already beat that part and I'm at the part where you have to find the Ghost Ship in the sea while you have to maually steer the ship.

But, now... Where is that Ghost Ship?

I need help for the 5th time that you visit the Temple of the Ocean King. On floor B9 (the room with the 3 pedestals and 3 crystals), I red the guide on IGN and it told me to put the crystals in the order of square, round, triangle, but I can't put in that order. I think that it is beacause the pedistals are round, square, triangle. Can any one tell me what to do now...

Omg this is geting to funny!

#1: Put square crystal in square pedestal

#2: Put round crystal in round pedestal

3#: Put triangle vrystal in triangle pedestal

And I cant wait til you get to Death island it will be loads of fun. >:(

Im not trying to be mean im just alittle annoyed that you cant figger them out for yourself. Because figgering out puzzles yourself is what zelda games are about.

Now I'm at the part where you fight Belum for the 2nd time. But, my ? has nothing to do with that, in the chain of gift giving (you know get "Hero's New Clothes, give them away, get Telescope, then the Gauard Notebook, then get wood heart and give it to the Old Wayfarer") Where is the Old Wayfarer?

There is is guy in the Northeast sector of MERCAY island, and he tells you to put stuff into these packages. Upon putting something into it, you can go online, or wireless mode with someone, and if they have something in their package, you will switch them.

It's pretty pointless. You might as well go online with some of your crappiest items.
