I was wondering, when you first signed up did you post in the "New/Returning Members Post Here" Thread?

I've been a member here since 2001, I've seen lots of users come and go during that time (though I was briefly inactive for a year or two myself).

I've promised myself I would never read my old posts (from back...then). It's amazing how I've morphed from essentially an annoying six-year-old to an annoying 16-year-old.

No, my first post was not in "New/Returning Members Post Here". It was around, but I don't think is was stuck at the top of the page. It was just a normal topic and it kinda fell below a lot of other topics.

Actually, I haven't tracked down my first sets of posts, but my "New/Returning Members Post Here" one isn't that far off from my current style. But, then again, like I said, I already learned the ropes of forum-dwelling before I came here (but, boy, you should've seen me when I first started out--on FlashPlayer, of all places...). Of course, I know I probably wouldn't survive one second somewhere like the 1UP.com boards...

It wasn't around when I joined, either. My first posts were mostly going toward a contest I had joined, to make TMK a new banner.
At the time, I sounded almost exactly like I do now, perhaps a little less confident.

No. There were no such things as sticky topics then and I wanted to just go right in with the flow and post like I'd always been around (though my earliest posts have a strong sense of immaturity about them).

Here is my first post. Apparently I posted about twice per year until the Stupid Fatty incident which made me hardcore.

Oh, yeah! I can't believe I forgot about The Evil Bread! I think I have a log of that thing somewhere on my old computer...it's, like, seventy pages long.

I don't believe I did, but when I got a name change I made a post there to confuse people. Of course, it didn't work.
