I was never a newbie here.

There is no such thing as a newbie, if it is the opposite of a regular.  A regular is someone who comes here more than a few days.  A person who leaves after a post or two wouldn't be called a newbie because they already left.

Why use the word "newbie"?  "New guy/girl" would sound more direct and less like something someone got off of Rocket Power.

Everything is as smooth as sandpaper pajamas.

I define a newbie as someone who hasn't quite gotten into the flow of the forum.

*tries to get into the flow, but falls over.

I am still a newbie in the since that a lot of the times I have no idea what is going on.

EDIT: Sorry, this post is SPAM.

*chews on a fiber pill in hopes of becoming regular.

I think you're a regular once you admit that the whole board is confusion, and stop trying to make sense.

What flow of the forums?  The forum doesn't flow like a river, it just sits like a pond.

This whole post was a big joke.  I hope you're laughing out loud right now.

I agre. Newbies, I see them as members who still haven't gotten a sense of forum ethic yet, so many things they do can be considered annoying by regulars.

Trainman is laughing at Luigison's and Markio's post.

Luigison, although he may think he's not funny because people are sometimes mean to him, NEVER ceases to make me laugh.

I think that I would be one of the newer newbies on the message board.  At least I'm one of the more annoying and confused newbies here :).  I posted a topic about how to unclick the email option, if that is considered confused enough!

Sorry!  I'll go back to the extra posts now and delete them.  They'll be blown straight off the face of the Earth!  Man, now I really do look like the most confused one.

Anyway, I just joined the forums a few days ago... last Saturday I think... and I have been coming to this site for quite awhile before that.  But I doubt that I'm the newest one here.

You know, it's possible for someone to be recognized as new, and in reality, be quite experienced with the personalities here. I, for instance, have been a variation of a regular for 2 years now, but only since now have I been posting. Interesting, isn't it? No, no it isn't. Sorry.

Oh, and by the way, how come people under 13 can't join the forums? My little brother is too young, and he's almost as big a Mario fan as I am. His favourite character is really Larry Koopa, but he says it's Luigi. Copycat..

Oh, and by the way Deezer, he sent a few e-Mails to you under many names, like SuperStarLuigiwolf. Do you remember him?

Reasons for being under 13 in order to join:
1) Parents don't want their young children to roam around the internet unescorted
2) We need a proper maturity level in the typing skills/coversational topics dept.

I joined these forums, I think, on 9/3/04, without introducing myself, and I'm probably still a n00b in every respect. I've posted a little over 100 times now, but many of those were in games like "Mario Elimination Round". Also I've already gotten into at least two arguments here; that's something I really need to stop doing. One of my main faults is my nasty temper. But I don't want to distance myself from everyone; it would be nice if I could make some friends on this site.

Oh, and by the way, this is the first forum I ever joined.
