Title: Question About Mario's History

I was curious about two things when reading
"A Little Insight Into Mario".

I'll admit, it's been forever since I played Super Mario World 2. So it's possible I'm forgetting this. But when was it stated that mario and Luigi were natives of the Mushroom Kingdom sent to Earth?

Also, where did the infor about Mario and Luigi meeting their mother when they first arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom?

Sorry if I'm a bother. I'm not trying to cause trouble or anything. Just curious as heck. :)

No, that is the product of fan speculation (that I don't buy into).

Marionut#1 and others think that it was strongly implied, though.
