For a recent project in my digital audio course I recorded some voiceovers of short sample narrations - things like blurbs, ads, blurbs for ads.  It's been the most fun I've had with an assignment in a while, and I think they turned out pretty well, considering it was my first time doing this sort of thing.

I'm actually not sure anyone on this board has heard my voice before.  In any case, you still wouldn't be, in a way, since none of these is an exact match with my normal speaking voice.  But still some fun.

You should be able to find all three narrations here, and - hopefully - enjoy.

You sound like you could do a decent Rod Serling impression.

Had never heard of him before, but if he's got a bass or deep baritone voice, then it would make sense.

I think I really want to do a voice in Friendship is Witchcraft.

Never heard of him! He's mainly known for being the host of The Twilight Zone. And he was something of a chain smoker, it seems.

That would explain it, I haven't seen The Twilight Zone.

Or smoked.

Never seen The Twilight Zone? Good grief! That's one of my major influences.

Guess one man's major influence is another man's "heard of it but never gotten around to sitting down to watch for himself."

Or "heard of it but never bothered to watch the marathons on the SciFi channel." Back when it was the SciFi channel. Back when television mattered. It's on Netflix, I'm pretty sure. And at the risk of starting an argument, I think it's much more interesting than The Outer Limits.

I have seen only a few episodes, but I've never not enjoyed one. They've all been good, which is a difficult thing to pull off. But considering how many episodes there were, surely there were some weak points.

It's good that you think that, Godot. Real good.

I thought he was doing a Rod Serling impression. Welp.
