iNudge.

iNudge is an in-browser music application that uses a 16-step sequencer as a base for simplistic and spontaneous music creation, allowing you to make sick beats yo! I figured it'd be neat to see what everyone can create with it. The cool thing is that whenever you post the link to your melody, anyone can freely edit it, so in theory we could have an endless remix-fest... only in theory, of course.

By the way, I'm already addicted to it. Be careful.

This is just a little taste of my "try and recreate the style of Earthbound's soundtrack" project I'm currently in the middle of. I've got a couple snippets here and I'll most likely be loading several more.

Not at the Dinner Table / Anti-Gun Laws Having The Opposite Effect (Clearly)

What if every man and woman carried a concealed weapon? Do people honestly think there would still be shootings like the recent movie shoot-out?

There wouldn't be. Because what's the only thing that can stop someone with a gun? Someone with a gun.

12 people were killed and 59 remained injured because no one had the ability to do a thing about it. They had no choice but to lay helpless between the theatre seats while being shot at by a maniac.

Apparently government doesn't understand that the reason there are so many gun related crimes In the U.S. is because we don't allow concealed firearms. They must not realize that criminals don't follow laws.

In essence, the feds are amplifying the problem they supposedly are trying to prevent. Not a surprise, really.

I think if it's clear enough to a 15 year-old that this is a huge hole in the system, then it should be clear enough to grown (perhaps not mentally) men.

Also...

"Switzerland's government issues every adult a gun and trains them to use it; Switzerland has the lowest gun related crime rate of any civilized country in the world."

Not at the Dinner Table / Your Thoughts

Discuss your thoughts of everything. Life, Love, Death... anything with deeper, chill-inducing meaning.

Here are mine...

First of all, I'm agnostic, so don't get your superman tights in a bunch if you read anything that offends you and your beliefs in anyway.

I'm wandering the many links of Wikipedia and I find myself scrolling through the scientific half of it.
I get to this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/End_of_the_universe
I instinctively think to myself, "I'm incredibly lucky that I'll never have to encounter that." (Which I now realize is false, seeing as how matter is neither created nor destroyed, and me being matter will one day reach that fate).
I wander through the banks of my own mind and I find incredibly complicated thoughts of life and the meaning of existence, thinking about the beginning of time and it's inevitable end.
I then wonder the impossible:

"What if there were no existence?"

My mind figuratively imploded.
Completely baffled by my own innocence, I considered the many reasons for life and existence. Perhaps life is something that cannot exist without itself? (Cue implosion.)

When it comes to the topic of the creation of the universe, I don't believe in its existence being subject of a God.
I do however, believe in a higher spiritual power that connects us all on an incredibly large level of near-infinite magnitude.
That's not to say that a God isn't/Gods aren't a possibility, not at all. It just seems unlikely to me that an all knowing being (or beings) who "always was and always will be" exists.

So, I drew things.

These files are relatively large (if you're running 800 x 680 res) but I think you'll be okay.

I have no definitive style at all, so if they seem all over the place and random, they are.
