Sadly, any banner is too big.

I'm not so sure about that. I've had a link in my signature before and it didn't get removed.

Pretty much images, colored or enlarged text, advertising, and being more than two lines long are the only problems for sigs. Links are fine if they're not like "CHECK OUT MY SITE [url]!"

Also, entire topics should not be made for simple questions. Private Messages to forum mods and site admin will do wonders for these kinds of questions.

No links in sigs either. Centering is okay.
