One would assume that 649 is more than enough to cover eveything that's ever existed, but Game Freak has proven otherwise. What organisms, objects and concepts have you always thought should be represented as a Pokemon? These stick out in my mind:

-The world's largest rodent, the capybara. Even if it was [dukar]-tier Route 1 trash like Ratatta or COMPLETE AND UTTER CODSWALLOP WHOSE MOTHER IS A WHORE like Bidoof, I'd want one.
-Kingdra's well-camoflauged counterpart, the leafy sea dragon.
-The near-indestructible tardigrade, AKA the water bear. This microscopic mother****er can survive in a block of ice, a blazing fire, and even the vaccuum of space.
-A dolphin. Believe it or not, there are currently no Pokemon based primarily on dolphins.
-This thing
-A Pokemon based on the ancient art of internet trolling. It would be like Porygon's ******* cousin.

I think it'd be hilarious if they made Pokemon based on famous historical figures or politicians.

Ooh, we discuss this in the chat some of the times. one of the most popular ideas is a Jack-O-Lantern. It'd be a Grass/Ghost type.

I once came up with a Ghost/Steel type. It started as a floating sword, then evolved into a suit of armor.

I can't take this thread seriously with such a glaring error in the opening post.

There's something wrong with the picture you posted.

It depicts a Bidoof that is alive and not suffering agonizing torture.

To me, there are other Pokemon who are for more deserving of disdain than Bidoof.

Touche, but seriously, why is he hated so?

There haven't been any designs based off of other video game characters (not that I know of, anyway). GameFreak has done more than Pokemon, so you'd think they could throw in references to their past works (game consoles in certain areas notwithstanding).

Also, what is so bad about Bidoof/Bibarel? They're not my favorites, but they're not that bad..
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

Touche, but seriously, why is he hated so?

It has an ugly oblivious expression and it's far too common in areas where far better Pokemon can be found.
