You're welcome. That also applies to SSB4, if you need something to turn you away from that.

Nobody mention this thing

But isn't the Wii U getting a GameCube style controller for Smash Bros Wii U?  Would that work for MK8 too?

I played my brother's Super Circuit cartridge on my Game Boy Player today.

It's actually pretty good, but the Special Cup courses are all cheap as ****.

Really, I just keep falling all over the place. I got a gold trophy in every cup but the special cup, which I just used Quick Run for.

The main thing I remember from SC is taking the cartridge out and the picture turning red.

I saw that, hence my post in the SSB4 thread. However, I'm not sure if MK8 will be supported. :/

Super Mario Kart Super NES! I love just about every other Mario Kart game too. Although, I didn't just vote for it because it's the first in the series I played and played the most, but also because it has memorable music, wonderful worlds (Super Mario World inspired) and a difficulty level that remains challenging, even through the ages.

There's definitely an aspect to Super Mario Kart that I don't think exists in any of the other Mario Karts.
I like them all, but I can definitely see why you like Super Mario Kart so much. Something about the Mode7 graphics just gives it a unique feel.
I think it'd be pretty awesome if they re-released it as one of the 3D Classics on the 3DS.
It'd definitely be a great candidate for it, especially considering that the original game is split screen just like the 3DS. (And the 3D would look pretty awesome.)

Club Nintendo is down!  Did they underestimate the MK traffic and/or are they adding something awesome?
